A heads up to keep your eyes out for an email inviting you to this offer. I often miss them by not being aware so hope it helps. Details of how to qualify below from the email I received and the link.

There's not much time to take advantage of your £2.50 bonus cashback on 1 transaction, when you spend £25* or more.

It’s easy to get your extra £2.50, click the link below which will take you to the activation page, activate the promotion and once you make your transaction the bonus will appear in your account. When your cashback is payable, your bonus will be too. Only members who have received this email will be eligible.

Make a purchase between 12:00 16/04/2018 and 23:59 18/04/2018 and get an extra £2.50 bonus cashback when you spend £25 or more, on one merchant. Some merchants may not include VAT or delivery charges on the spend reported back to TopCashback.

Please see the T&Cs below for more details. The bonus will only be available on one transaction and you must activate using the link below to be eligible.

Doh, same for me too
Gave up on Topcashback when my EE transaction tracked at £50 instead of the promised £150 and my ticket is still unresolved 14 months on.

Mine too. Obviously going down the 'personalised offers' route like many others seem to be. I'll still give this heat.

Quidco is definitely more reliable than Topcashback in my opinion and their customer service is far superior. For retailers not on Quidco I use Kidstart rather than bother with TCB.
£2.50 for £40 for me. Probably because ive used so many. Just to counter balance, always used TCB over Quidco, too many issues with Quidco. Swings and roundabouts

I am sorry to hear that.
Whichever cashback site you use, when you click on a link the tracking network uses the cookie that link provides to credit the source with how much commission they believe is eligible, inline with the rates agreed with that commission source.

I am sorry to hear that this is lower than expected and can assure you our team will be working to ensure we are paid the correct amount for the purchase.

Rather than give up on a claim just to provide you with a faster response, we believe pushing more on the claim until we have heard back from the network. They do sometimes take longer than we'd like and hope and I am sorry when that has affected you for such a long period of time but when this happens we work behind the scenes to ensure you do get a reply as soon as we do get one.

Best wishes,Matt

Really sorry to hear that Matthew. Providing fast and efficent customer service is at the heart of our company. Even during our busiest periods we replied to members within a couple of days and while we don't have a function like live chat this means that all our members get replied to as swiflty as possible.

If there is anything that concerns you please feel free to DM so I can investigate

Hi Aberboy,
There's no behind the scenes cap so that if you earn so much with a retailer you aren't eligible for it.
Like you I am a member of the site and certainly wouldn't work here let alone use the site to earn cashback if this was the case.

What tends to be the cause is that people browse more to find the best deals before clicking through our site. Some even use saved quotes etc when this is advised against.

We want every single one of your purchases to track. Not only does this mean a good experience for you, it also then means that our team can focus on other issues our members may be raising. This is why we provide helpful tips on how to help tracking. We don't advise this to fob you off or anything like that it's becuase clearing cookies and cache before logging in, closing all open web tabs and apps if you are using a mobile really can help.

Best wishes,Matt

It is disappointing to hear that.

I would hope, if they were honest, if you went to the other cashback site in question and asked if your tracking was better through them because it was then they would say no. Because that is the truth.

The tracking network doesn't mind if you come from us or any other commission source, all that matters to them is they credit the purchase back to the source that is seen to refer it.

If you find that purchases are not tracking it's best to look at the route cause of this which will help you overall. Whether that is down to cookies or whether that is down to something else we will help you as much as we can.

As for customer service, happy to look into any concerns you wish to raise if you could expand on this through a DM.

Best wishes,Matt

I haven't had a problem with tracking that hasn't been resolved. I just wasn't eligible for the deal. Had £3,596.28 so far so I'm not complaining.
I use quidco too but the rates were usually higher on TCB so tend to go to them as a first choice. No doubt admin can see how much goes their way from me either on Quidco or HUKD

I'm certainly not suggesting this is ideal because it's not. However, I am also explaining that the resolution isn't as easy as simply asking for one and getting a response. If it was we certainly wouldn't keep you waiting for a day, let alone these months you have allowed.

Our decision here is whether to keep this claim open and try and get a resolution for you or close the claim without a response. We don't think the 2nd option is an option at all and hope you agree with that.

Our team not only work on getting claims resolved but also the wider systems involved to try and get it so the number of claims it takes much longer than expected to hear back about are decreased. We want claims like yours to be much easier to resolve but we can't bring you a result until we have one and I am sure you can understand that.

Best wishes,
Matt

As I am sure you know, like the lottery, playing and winning a prize in the Hummingbird Game is random.
If it wasn't we'd have quite a few people on our tails.

If it's true that none of your purchases in two years have tracked I would ask you to closely look at the configuration of your device including your web settings as it shouldn't be the case.

If nothing at all is tracking it means there is a much bigger issue than just clearing cookies. It could be your internet browser settings.

Best wishes,Matt

I applied for a higher cashback guarantee claim and your terms and conditions ask for the URL of the site the offer is on which I sent you. You then declined my claim as I did not send you a screengrab(which is not in the terms and conditions) so I sent you one anyway. You then declined again because the date was not visible, again not in your terms and conditions and you refused to let me escalate my claim as I did not meet the correct criteria.

Same here. Had one with First Choice that tracked and paid at 2% instead of the advertised 5.5%. Over £120 and unresolved well over a year on. Have given up on it.
there is one thing over time ive learned form TCB on here, all they do is apologising, thats all well and dandy if it followed with action, but its sorry for that sorry for this, they should rename tcb to SNC aka sorry no cashback, but we will say sorry when you dont get your money.
there was a time when they were a good company and things almost always tracked, but sadly no more, and apart from a few tests i have done, i wont use them again until i get my money. sad really a good company has lost its way
It will take months to get any money back from TopCashBack, I've got cash pending from last August!

As we cannot have acess to your device we can't see what is on there or what more can be done to help your tracking other than our tracking advice.

While hardware/ software may still be the same this doesn't mean that the settings are the same or that there are no new ad ons to your browser, or perhaps setting changes in your browser itself. For example, some people who use safari may not know sometimes the default is to not allow all cookies and this likely will lead to our cookies not getting through.

It is disappointing you feel like that. Since we started we have more retailers on site, more members and more cashback earned. It's always growing.

We don't like to see cashback getting declined, cashback tracking incorrectly or cashback not tracking at all. If we didn't care about it we wouldn't have our claims team who have recovered millions of pounds of your earned cashback.

Over the past twelve months we have invested in both of these areas of the company as we want you to get faster responses. In addition we regularly undertake training with our customer facing teams as the environment is ever changing.

Far from losing our way, we are doing the complete opposite and pushing forward to provide you with a constantly better member experience.

We have made some changes before and people haven't shared our positivity about them I'll name name as we aren't scared of listening and acting where we can. The earnings page for example, when we made changes we had a lot of suggested improvements. We made a lot of them and in the end we have created something much better for you and the rest of our members.

Members wanted our app improved and so we have done that for them too. Members wanted more ways to pay out your cashback and the ability to pay our in whole numbers, we have done that too. We have done all this and much more because we are dedicated to always changing.

At the end of it all you really are at the heart of our company and without you we'd be a website with no visitors.

Best wishes,
Matt

They do use cookies too and I also believe they use the same tracking networks as us as we (or they) don't track purchases the tracking network for the retailer does. This is why I can say with quite some certainty, under the same tracking environment a purchase should track to us as it would elsewhere.

If you noticed this has happened after a set date, I would advise looking around that date to see what changes have been made as there is nothing we can do from our end we can change on your account.

However, if you are using other cashback sites as well as us you really do need to be keeping an eye on your tracking as it could be they are earning the commission as the last referrer as if their cookies are more prominent on your device they will likely get paid and not us.

Best wishes,
Matt

I bet you are still getting your referals everytime I go through to a site via your links. What ever device/browser I use(only one bowser for quidco)the result is the same.
Untill my out standing claim is dealt with one way or the other(sick of being left in limbo) I am done using you for cashback.

We certainly are not. We pass on all the money to you we get for referrals. Even when you earn cashback with us we don't keep any of that, we pass it all on.

Should you need any further assistance please feel free to drop our team a message as they will be happy to help.
