Having supported them for a while, I now find that they are absolutely awful with no customer support at all! The way they decline cash back now is such that you have absolutely no come back and cannot even raise a cash back claim. Essentially they state that their "robust tracking systems have detected another referrer and so they have no way of challenging that". Despite a cookie/cache clearance pre purchasing via their site. So essentially they can can just f**k you over with no recompense or protection none so ever. Lost £40 plus in a recent cash back claim for a mobile phone contract.

My declined cash back tally is now at £474.60. Make of that what you will. But I cannot recommend these cowboys anymore. This is despite £2.5k of cash back received in the early days when they were actually good to their customers. So a 19% failure rate to track/pay out.

Conversely, Quidco at least offer a compensatory cash back even if the claim fails. I am moving further away from TCB and towards Quidco. TCB seem to not value loyalty or provide any support nowadays for their longstanding customers. Shame as they seemed to be a good company when they started. Now I just feel they use any excuse possible to avoid paying cash back. Particularly on the larger amounts. For eg: my last cash back for just eat when they had the £3 bonus has conveniently not tracked!
Voted hot, but still did not get my £3 from their previous deal.

I prefer Quidco. Much faster bonus payments and some even next day (Nike, Dominos, just eat, 7dayshop etc)

Recently used TCB to place order with crabtree because they offered 6%. Tracked at only 3% and now I have to submitt a claim for the missing 3% which will take many months.

Placed another order with Crabtree via Quidco because they increase their rate to 6% and it tracked at the correct rate.

Also George recently declined my cashback for no reason but Quidco paid me anyway.

Had £50 turned down after Christmas when purchasing a phone. Raised a claim and all they said was that it’s not guaranteed and basically said bad luck. Quite a con really as some factor this into the price. BEWARE

Starting to agree. Had EE decline cashback and it says no click detected so you have to go through customer services. I won't hold my breath. Trying to get it sorted and its slow.

Mine was on ebay which everytime I purchase something on ebay.... It tracks no problem.....and I buy quite a lot.
The one and only time there's a promotion and it doesn't track :/ :/ :/ :/
How long does it take to track in earnings
Wanted to use this with the zavvi code going round on Shenmue but I don't think you get cashback when using a code do you?
Ha good luck with this...three times they cancelled my bonus for legitimate claims that tracked
And as usual made a purchase last night

So far I am very happy with TopCashback and will only consider Quidco for the merchants that are not on TopCashback.

Why not have two?

Hopefully it won’t happen to me!
Ebay: Total spend or 1 item to £10.?

I am pretty sure everytime I opt in, I never get the cashback anyway
I’ve not had any problems with topcashback, claimed over £300 the last 2 years.

I would bet on 1 item. Last bonus I bought two items from the *same* merchant to reach the £5 threshold. They tracked individually despite my paying the same seller in one go, thus no bonus. 😔

This is interesting to me - i've had better experience with Top Cash Back rather than quidco. I've just had a £70 claim for cashback on a holiday been declined from Quidco - what's the compensatory cashback you talk about? Do you have to ask for it?

Hey,

If any members have any concerns on previous bonus transactions and would like to get it looked into please submit a support ticket and our teams can certainly take a closer look

Best wishes

Phil
TBH, all cashback suppliers are the same, sometimes brilliant and sometimes they are atrocious, at the end it's about profit.

I usually opt in these promotions, but no way will I purchase something just to get an extra couple of quids, only if I'm 100% in purchasing a product I will see if the company is affiliated with cash back and then look at who is giving the most cash back.

Anyway, rant over and thanks to the OP in highlighting this to everyone on HUKD, heat added, to everyone else, I hope you all receive the extra cash back from TCB.

Have a great day, .

Hey,

If your transaction has tracked please bear with the bonus and it should show by the time the transaction goes to payable. If you see no progress after this time please let the team know and they can take a look and assist with this

Best wishes

If the amount owed is around £50 or more, just email Quidco and tell them you will be putting in a Money Claim (i.e. small claims court application made online) against them.

The second they understand you are serious, they will immediately pay you the missing cash back "as a gesture of good faith" to stop the threat of Court action (it would cost Quidco over £300 to appoint a local solicitor / barrister to act for them if they dispute the case in Court, and this amount could NOT be recovered from you - even if you were to lose the claim)

So, if you make a genuinely valid claim against Quidco, the cheapest option is for them to just pay you the "missing" cashback - and they do this pretty much 100% of the time when challenged.
