I thought this was a good deal, too. it's okay ^^

Don't know why this is cold? Heat from me.

It's all about data now

This is a great deal! Thanks for posting! (_;)

yesterday i called them and they offered 5000 mins, 3gb data with 2gb data boost (so 5gb data total) for £13, and after a bit of haggling they gave me it for £10 (which is going up about 31p in june) on a 30 day rolling contract. i only use about 2.5gb data a month and hardly make any calls so was surprised i got 5000 minutes. that's a bout 3 and a half days of talk time a month

Can I cancel anytime - reception here is terrible on BT.
No point in getting a sim if I can't get reception at home.

why is this cold?

Can't believe so many people have voted this stone cold (almost minus 200 at time of writing) without a word of explanation.

Same signal as BT uses EE

I've got 20gb data for £15 so cold

6gb for £15? Not good enough, they need to stop being so tight with data.

As it's not really any special offer. It is available on the Virgin site to absolutely the whole of the UK - with no sign of it being say a special offer for a limited time.

I think Virgin Media customers will have the best chance of getting discounted sim deals.

For me the issue with these virgin sim offers is that they are promoting them with somewhat deceptive advertising such as the current "data boost" to make it look like a special offer and getting extra data. When the reality is the data offerings, even with the current offer, is pretty much or very similar to what they have been offering under various offers for as long as I can remember for a year or more. Take the current data boost away, and your probably paying over the odds for what you would then have. So is it extra data or standard data promoted as a special offer?.

My phone contract expires next month, and I'm looking for a SIM only deal as firstly my phone is fine, not fussed on an upgrade, but don't want to get tied to a fixed term SIM and so a 30day rolling SIM deal is what I want. Nothing about the current virgin "offers" has got my attention right now. Would likely go on the £6 SIM untill something decent and a genuine offer comes up. £15 pm for 6gb data does seem pretty standard these days when you look at other offers our there in the past. So not over priced, just standard content promoted as special offer.
