perfect for breakfast ..............

Bacon stinks out the place. Last time I got Lidl's bacon they had an offer on the cheddar. Yanno 500g of bacon is just over a quid with supermarket cheapie brands?

The smell of bacon cooking makes you want it! Its like when they say when you are selling your house make a pot of coffee and they will buy

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bacoooooooooooooooon

Man, that looks good.

Bear can

Ok Fred

I had to go make a bacon sandwich...

i keep my eyes to tescos cooking bacon for 75p for 500g-ish as the contents seem to vary a lot (and you can tell by looking easily). half the time it's mushy crap (literally, the whole pack is just shreds) which is ok for pasta, stews or nachos but rest of the time it's actually slightly thick cut but otherwise normal rashers unsmoked that cook really quite well and have very little fat - i find most retailers standard bacon too thin anyway so i loves it.

Whenever I've checked out the bacon in my local Aldi, it looks really unappealing - some of it is grey, even oO Great deal if yours is better than mine though, so voted hot.

PS, Format, where abouts do you find cooking bacon in Tescos please?

big 500g vacpacks among the other bacons (maybe only in full-fat stores, not sure about express), usual tescos white 'market value cooking bacon' label. as i mention have a look at the stuff though, some packs are just thick bacon rashers stuffed together instead of stacked but some seem to be a kinda bacon mush with smoked and unsmoked mixed - naff for a sarnie or a full english but ok for cooking
