It's been slightly cheaper at £109.99 according to camelcamelcamel, but if you're not in a position to wait for it to hit that price point again this is probably a good point to pull the trigger.

Has anyone noticed that assassin's creed comes free with pretty much any computer equipment you buy at the moment

Better to get it elsewhere and get assassins creed free and sell the code I think

Great drive. Bought it last time it was this price. Almost tempted to get a second. Wonder if raid striping works with m2?

Sure does, assuming board support. I'm sure I've read reviews of that being done....

You’d need to have a pretty niche usage to benefit from it.

Recently I've been looking at updating from a Samsung 850 500GB SSD to the Samsung 960 Pro 500GB.
But from what I've read, people say it wasn't worth it.

Not a bad price now then as most ssd prices are alot more now than there were a year ago

So would this be 'noticeably' faster than something like an 850 Evo of similar size in basic tasks? (eg. surfing, office use, booting up & shutting down, etc)

SM961 on scan is £115(exc. delivery), which is MLC NAND, faster IOPS. No code for Assassin's Creed either.

Good Price. I paid £114.00 but got a free game

Becouse they can’t shift it!

Just be aware that depending on your motherboard and the amount of PCIe lanes available through the M.2 slot that you might not be able to get full speed with one of these ssd's. I had to buy an adapter for my graphics card pci-e slot so I could run one of these at maximum

Been wanting the 1 TB version of this for ages but it's never dropped below £400 AFAIK. I wonder whether RAM or SSD prices will drop first?

Help!
Bought one to use in an Asus prime b350-plus mobo.
Bios recognises the evo drive but Windows 7 installation can not see drive. No other drives connected.
Any ideas anyone?

I’m no expert, and I don’t know your knowledge, but I’m gonna suggest disk manager? Maybe it needs formatting?

I’ll help more tomorrow if you’re not sorted. Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I loaded windows onto a normal HDD first and cloned the HDD to the m2 drive.
Seems to have worked.
