You'll probably find the air tank isn't big enough to give you an even flow of paint. I have a similar one which I've used for painting fences and walls and you have to pause every 30 secs or so to let the tank refill.

Other uses I've found - its great for pining architrave/moulding round the edge of laminate flooring, blowing dust out of keyboards/computers, and for replacing grips on golf clubs!!

I reckon that these are Wolf compressors rebadged & marketed by Aldi. Get Wolf bits from ukhs.tv/Wor…ies - they have same Euro quick fit connectors. UKHS are also listed on Ebay.

I bought what I thought was the last one in my local store (North Finchley) a couple of weeks ago. But suddenly the other day a bunch more appeared on the shop floor. Clearly they have a few knocking around in the store room...

Plenty of accessories left too - they're a real bargain.

Bought this a year or so ago, Not as good a deal now as it was then, It was only 75 quid when I got one and it come with 2 lengths of hose, a gravity fed spray gun, a suction fed spray gun, a gun with a pot underneath that you put chemicals in, a tyre inflater, a gun that connects to your hose pipe, an air gun, and as a bonus it also had modellers spray kit, Probably a good few quid for that lot alone.

I got one of these from Aldi about four years ago. It is a Wolfair compressor as they are people who support the 3 year guarantee. Last month a bought the air shear but the guarantee is provided by a different company. Been very happy with the compressor, tank is a little small but I only have a small garage. The beauty of this compressor is its 9.5cfm rating, so if refills quickly and at the time no one else was doing a compressor with that level of air delivery for anywhere near the same price.

Thanks, managed to get a Draper euro coupler and it fits ok but it lets air escape at the point where it clicks into the compressor. Does anyone know if some ptfe tape would cure this?

    I'd still recommend it though.
