25KG bag of Cement for £3.80 at Wickes

Very cheap for a bag of cement, TP would not even go lower than £4.
Not sure on their best before dates but I'd have thought they would have had to be a decent length.

No, cement is a great weight gainer. Mixes well with water, but by eck, you better drink it quick.

Cement is a substance that sets and hardens as it dries, which means it's absolutely fantastic for retaining muscle mass. Permanently.

Great deal, now where's the mother in law?

Bought some 2 weeks ago at this price, no problem with dates, also have maxi sand bags for 1.30 if you buy 10. Heat added.

B&Q have the Lafarge Mastercrete Cement @ £4 per 25kilo bag if no-one has a Wickes nearby

Hot,nice one op.They are also cheap for bags of postcreat (postmix) I have found, using plenty of both at the mo !

This or the 12.5kg of spuds from Morrisons for about the same price?

Is that for when members of the party get done for inciting racism, they'll have brushed up on their spud peeling practice ready for gaol.

But Mastercrete is adulterated with large quantities of industrial waste. It is not a premium product.

I have a cash & carry card and cement is only just over £3.00 a 25Kg bag, which just shows how much profit there is in a deal even at £3.80

What Cash and Carry is that? £3 will be ex Vat so £3.60 is not huge difference ~ 6%.

Duh I never knew cash & carry were ex vat, & was too stupid to add it on !

Thanks for making stupid assumptions ! I had added the VAT to make an accurate comparison and the £3.00 is inclusive !

So which cash and carry is that?
At £2.5 for a bag of cement I am sure some builders merchants will be interested in this.

Even better why not post it as a deal?

Bag of Cement, why would anyone want a bag of cement, I would rather cement mix

It isn't a deal because they're really strict on membership and it's not available to the public. It's 'Hanson' branded and closer to £2.60 per bag ex VAT.
Most of the smaller builders merchants are in buying groups, and if you get the trade discount then you'll find its around this price anyway.

Available all year round at builder depot for less than this

How much are you getting it for from them? The last time I got a quote it was £3.5+vat so £4.2 but I never buy much from them.

With builder depot I find the prices vary between branches, have paid around £2.80 inc vat per bag, usually they run promos on certain staple materials, cement, bricks, sand etc etc recently picked up engineering bricks for 0.07p each (bought around 20).

Original Poster

That's very cheap unfortunately they only seem to have branches in London so no good for me

Keep an eye out on Selco too might be better for you?

Selco

B@q still have sharp sand @ £1 (25kg bag)

Hth

Selco have Rugby Cement for £2.89 per 25kg bag - voted cold.

Lafarge Mastercrete is a superior product to Lafarge General Purpose Cement.

I mentioned it as folks may not have a Wickes nearby, and may not be able to justify a longer round trip to save 20p per bag, if they had a B&Q nearer may be more cost efficient to go there and pick up Mastercrete @ £4/bag.

If your input to this site is comments as above, then go elsewhere as your input isn't posting deals ; 1 in over 5 years ?

Looks like you relish trolling, comment aimed at yourself on your solitary deal ; If your going poke fun at other people's offers spoonkop, and least make decent ones yourself, lol
