£19/2.5 = £7.60 per kilo

Asda £5.95 per kilo

Plus there is a minimum £25 spend

Chicken is much cheaper than this at the supermarket.

Yeah but you wouldn't the chicken AND all the other stuff too

Mail-order raw chicken. what could possibly go wrong?

Especially if it sits under hot lights at the post office sorting department, nestled underneath all of the other packages, keeping it nice and cozy.

This muscle food company aint that great, i got some rump steaks and they were chewy as hell and not cheap, i hate it when you have a steak with fatty bits everywhere. It's way better if its in one place so you can just cut it off.

with £5 delivery, plus the £5 more than what supermarket charges for the chicken, then probably could get the rest of hamper for a tenner or thereabouts

Local butcher would be a better bet.

I have never ordered from this company before, other fresh products such as raw milk I've ordered have come with frozen ice packs and insulated boxes. Do they delivery themselves and use a refrigerated van I wonder?

I have my meat delivered by these. Comes in an insulated bag with ice packs all in a box. The ice packs are always still frozen on delivery and have not had any trouble with any of their meats. The chicken breasts are large and very little water from them. They are delivered by Royal mail. Pity my freezer is full otherwise I would be ordering this.

Like everything 'Don't knock it until you try it'.

Tried it, didn't like it, so now I'm knocking it.
Short dated, terrible smell from the "gas flushed" packaging. Terrible customer service.
Cold from me.

JJ foods sell chicken breast for around £30 for 10kg . So £3 per kg .
