is it possible to get further warranty??? either way a good deal tho

for people to lazy to read the whole post:

26" built in Speakers + freeview with 8 day electronic programme guide
HD ready (i imagine 720i/p and 1080i)
Only 1 HDMI (not sure what spec this will be, probably 1.2 (newest is 1.3 - sum1 can explain the small difference)

has a PC input - probably VGA

does Vista support 16:9 ratios out of the box???

using a Nvidia 7300GT, how would i change it to 16:9 or would it resize auto...?

feel free to post if im wrong about this - ill gladly change my post

I run a 42" LCD in wide screen 16:9 with Windows XP so I would imagine Vista certainly would.

You don't need to, you just set the resolution of your PC to match the optimum resolution of the display, in this case 1366 * 768.

Also using VGA with LCD TVs is far less hassle than HDMI, which can suffer from overscan problems. (Losing 5%+/- of the displayed picture for example. All depends on the TV.)

Was wondering though, has anyone ever had problems with refurb items?

Well i am forever buying refurb's and must say i have never had any trouble so i would recommend them but only if there is a considerable saving and your offered at least a 12 month warranty (I never touch those items with 30 day warranties you see on ebay a lot) - if there are any major glitches they should show up in the first 12 months.

Had lots of refurb mobile phones from Phones4U in my day: NO PROBLEMS!

Refurb DAB Radio: Going strong over 2 years later from Currys

Currently typing on a refurb philips PC: Over 1 year old and no problems so far from PC World

And i have just ordered a refurb DVD recorder from ebuyer
so i would recommend them!

Thanks for advice 1303, good of you to reply

Mirai 27" (new) £289.99 on techfever only 2 left but a great deal about £20 cheaper than anywhere else (they have the 22" model at £15 cheaper which says that this must be a good price for the 27" and last week this tv was £317).

They cancelled my order for the Beko tv But I managed to get a 27" refurbished Goodmans on ebay for £240 quid Ebay is always worth a look.

I don't think a goodmans is ever good though

Goodmans is the worst of the worst IMHO and I'd never buy a TV from Ebay as the guarantees offered are worthless.
