The Tour
Once doors have closed to the public on 26 March 2015, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will welcome Groupon members for an exclusive event. Guests will be granted after-hours access to the studio tour which showcases authentic sets, props and costumes from the Harry Potter film series.

Guests will walk the flagstones of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall before viewing many of the famous sets – including the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore’s office, and the Gryffindor common room. In addition, guests will be offered experiences specifically added for Groupon members, such as meeting the real feathered and furry animal actors who starred in the film series and enjoying a special effects demonstration.

Fans will get a first-hand look at the new Platform 9 3/4 and the original Hogwarts Express engine and carriages. And, thanks to Oscar®-winner, John Richardson, the Special Effect Supervisor for the Harry Potter film series, guests will witness the special effects used to create the frosted glass windows of the carriages, as well as the steam coming from the engine itself.

Guests will be able to learn wand moves and will be given the chance to ‘fly’ a broomstick – just like a member of the cast – in the Studio Tour’s green screen experience. During a short break in the attraction’s Backlot Cafe, guests will be offered the choice of a hotdog, chicken goujons or mac ‘n’ cheese, along with a drink, and, of course, Butterbeer before duelling Death Eaters on the Diagon Alley set with their newly learnt wand skills. Finally, guests will depart with a souvenir from the studio shop.

Actually looks really good for the price. Good find OP!

Heat added. This is a really good day out.

So is this an evening thing? I cant find a start time?

Good price... beware the outrageously expensive gift shop, the extra charges if you want photos or videos of yourself flying a brookstick/car and the sickeningly sweet butterbeer (cream soda).
Fantastic evening out though so hot from me.

Bought the 'Official' Tom/Voldermort Journel... for £30.

Its leather bound and pretty... but an impulse buy

It says "After hours" and "the tour ends at Midnight" but can anyone see a start time/arrival time?

Do I need the afternoon off - or is it a 7pm start or something?

I had/have no particular interest in the whole Harry Potter thing but the Studio Tour was absolutely fantastic.

Link leads to nowhere. Assistance please.

Confirmed with the Studio on the phone;

Doors open at 530, first tour starts at 600 - last tour is 800. Usually lasts around 3 hours.

You dont find out your slot until you book your GroupOn. The studio has no information about how full each slot is - because this is being run exclusively by GroupOn.

Im just on the live chat with them now trying to find out what Slots are available.

Sold out.

Really? Showing as 132 sold... but still available to "Buy".

My mistake. The link wasn't working. I've found it now.

Where can I find the £29 price, all I'm seeing is £55.

Ignore me! My mistake!! Thank you people!

Dont forget 6.3% CashBack too

Is the Hogwarts Express a train that moves from Kings Cross to the studios in Watford or do visitors have to make their own way to Watford?

You have to make your own way. The train is stationary. (Its part of the tour)

I think the steam is added for effect

The thing is even if they were treated in the best possible way, as they rightly should of course, peta would still be against them even being there.

I've been - it's a hoot.

Super hot price, shame it's not for a day later when I am in London.

Ah nuts, this would be a dream come true for me, but can't make that date

Don't listen to a thing PETA have to say, they're a money making pile of crap that only do this sort of thing for publicity.

PETA want to ban the private ownership of all animals as it's "cruel". That includes cats, dogs, fish etc. Many of which only exist as pets and will become extinct if not kept as such.

Good post! Added some Heat

Good price shame working

I checked in the official website, may not be for this week, but a little later.
It's £33 for Adult and £25 for Child, not £55 as the OP claimed. Or am I not reading correctly?

Huff post is very dodgy and the daily mail is usually questionable.

But your point and infomation is valid. I suggest watching Penn and Tellers show on peta, it's on youtube and quite revealing.

Would love to do this but need something April

I did this at Christmas, but paid £55 each.....daughters birthday treat...absolutely fantastic....she loved it...I loved it...would do it again just cant make the date.

Anyone else hate Harry Potter just slightly less than that James Corden?

Guessed as much, will make it an expensive short break coming from Cardiff. Sadly on this occasion "I'm out"

Hope you all enjoy it, I went for the launch of the Hogwarts only last week and was tempted to go again tomorrow just because you'd have more space around to get pictures without everyone in the way!

I've been twice, don't think I can go again for 3rd time..... Can I? Maybe I will wait for something else new to be released at the tour.
