Just because you can’t drive on the road until you’re 17, it doesn’t mean you can’t get in a car and practice beforehand! This experience, run by the UK’s largest under 17 driving academy and designed for 10-17 year olds, will allow your child to learn the basics of driving in the latest Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRi with one-to-one tuition from a fully qualified driving instructor. They’ll learn everything from starting and accelerating to braking, road sign recognition and reverse parking all on a replica road system, and there’s even a viewing area if you’d like to watch! Each of the simulated road systems around the UK has roundabouts and junctions as well as road signs, so this is the perfect introduction to driving and sure to be convenient to reach.

Our kids loved this, done it a few times and good value at this price.

Shame this isn't a requirement before going out on the road to learn for real. Gain confidence in pedals and car handling without the stress.
Thanks OP... that's a present for two kids wrapped up!
Check dates on youngdriver.eu website first before committing (rather than believe the BuyAGift text of “selected weekends and school holidays”). This doesn’t run as frequently, at least for my location, as the impression given in the booking text.

Offer open for equivalent experience with myself. Topics include:
- Misjudging the size of the vehicle.
- Poor selection of a turn in the road location.
- Creating maximum disruption within city one way systems.
- Ensuring panic when missing a motorway junction is visible to other motorists.
Half price at £15.
(Vehicle not included)

Teen had a go at this and really enjoyed it. Thoroughly recommended for a birthday/xmas gift they'll remember. Price is good too.
I have just ordered this but the only date coming up is next sat?
£27 for half an hour???

If you want them that young to learn about accelerator and brakes go, go-karting instead. Wait till they are 17 and just buy driving lessons.

Would cost the same at my local track and you need a licence to drive the karts that are worth having.
Booked

I figure that my daughter will have a go, and after that she'll be more inclined to pick up on what's happening when I drive.
Also, I'd rather her destroy someone else's car on her first attempt
I did one of these years ago. Thought it was great at the time as all the other kids were stalling in their cars but not me. Didn't realise until I was I actually learning to drive that the "instructor" was controlling the clutch his side.
