good price. thanks

You are welcome.
Any good for PS4 gaming? I can't see speakers in specs so I'm guessing external ones needed too, looks decent for the money though.

well it's HDMI so should work just fine.
Would this resolution be OK for normal PC work (office, browsing etc)? I've been looking for an IPS but I'm attracted to this because of the size. Cheers

a friend of mine uses it and has no problems but there is a slot of people online that says it looks a bit pixelulated but I have no idea if this because there is so many other resolutions now and people have just got picky and follow others, at one time 1920x1080 was the best res sorry I could no help more

It'll be fine. I did my dissertation on a 14" 800x600 CRT.
God damn you G-sync being so expensive! Hopefully Vega makes AMD even more popular and G-sync monitors finally come down in price. Heat from me.
Hi I am in the market for new monitor and need it for mainly CAD work. Not sure if this is good enough mainly cos everybody here says full hd is not good enough for monitors bigger than 24 inch. For £10 more isnt monitor below better option? Please share your thoughts.

I just received mine and I really do not see all the fuss about 1920X1080 on a 27" screen and the freesync worked flawless straight away

How is gaming on there?
Good find for the money and quality

I mean it will work fine, but if it's for a PS4, it's overkill. Freesync useless, 75hz won't be used to its full potential (I mean even 60hz is barely ever used to its full potential with consoles, but I digress). You can probably get a cheaper 27' that will be just as good and with speakers.

the gaming is nice and smooth wish my camera on my phone was better to show you guys and girls how it looks

I must admit though, I never took into account that the stand is really short and is much lower then my other monitor. but then again you can have everything in this world for a bargain

the monitor works flawlessly and I personally think it's good quality, windows 10 picks it up as a generic monitor but you can download the windows 8 one from Acer and windows 10 will see it as intended but didn't change anything and works exactly the same
Just bought.. arriving monday
Please can someone confirm if this monitor has a 3.5mm output jack. Thank you.

I'm also after an office monitor and thought IPS was the way to go. I notice this is labelled as a gaming monitor. Can anyone clued up on monitors advise on the best option for those of us who have to stare at them for 8-12 hours a day? Our eyes will thank you.

if it's mainly office stuff I would go with IPS, it has better viewing angles and and to myself the colours deck look slightly more crisp
Hi Peeps, anybody know how i can connect my xbox one s and a sound system to this please?
Once you've had IPS you will never go back to TN.
Good for budget videocards since 1920x1080 isn't too much hardware demanding to game on anymore.
144hz is what you should be going for it you are buying it for gaming.
I would prefer I.P.S. at that size cos it would make a better t.v. panel, but its a good deal with freesync for a large gaming panel.
Confused regarding inputs, says display port on the specs, but the picture has a DVI port? I use DVi on my current monitor, do I need to buy a display port to display port cable for this?
Just use the dvi cable dude.
how could I buy this without my wife finding out? hmmm
75Hz, retro!
If you have a gtx 1060 or rx 480 this will be perfect 75hz for ultra/high settings gaming , if you have a gtx 1070 or equivalent amd then 144 hz is going to be the best choice.
I went the 144hz g-sync way for my GTX 1070 and loving it, especially bf1.
And what does a 144hz gsync 27" monitor cost?
Idiot.

More than this (£279 I paid) lol for a reason.
Wow, i was saying what a good, ideal deal for the lower spec cards.
If you have a better spec card you would factor in getting a better spec monitor, just wanted to help people who are not sure.
