If I'd bought from Steam instead of getting a key I'd have submitted a refund request. Between fun things like buildings not loading in at the start, players camping until they're forced to move and amazingly inadequate gunplay, I utterly fail to see why it's taken off in such a huge way.Give me something like Titanfall 2 anyday. Immediate, discernable fun.

Dude, that’s your opinion and that’s great.
But I’m afraid your opinion is massively outnumbered - it’s beaten some serious records.

It beat the record for most concurrent online players, more than any other game.... ever.

It also beat the GTA 5 sales record, selling 10 million in 5 months.

A big positive is due to the fact it requires no commitment. You can play as frequently or as infrequently as you want, it won’t affect your experience in any way. It’s a casual game for a serious gamer.

If I had to comment, based on the overall consensus of this game, then I would have to say that it’s one of the most enjoyable and nerve-racking, panic inducing games you could ever play.

Of course, if you’re rubbish and give up quickly, then you’ll hate it.

But each to their own, not everyone will love it.

That’s the best price it’s been yet
I would recommend playing in squads. Many laughs can be had
Good game but I got bored of it after a few weeks. Has anything changed, new game modes?

It has the first person mode added now which I personally much prefer
Good price, but after 10 hours and about 20 games, incredibly repetitive and badly needs another map.

Nothing significant, they forced high shadows and PP for foggy weather so FPS dropped more. Bluehole are looking to spend the money we gave them on sueing Epic Games over Fortnite Battle Royale though lol.

Both those issues you state have been resolved. Please remember that this is EARLY ACCESS. You are actually agreeing to buy an incomplete game.

Bugs and glitches are to be expected, because that’s what you agreed to.

If you don’t like buggy games, with gunplay that needs improvement, then don’t buy games until they are fully released.

Then you’ll won’t own this game for another couple of years, price will shoot up when it gets full release and hits XBOX.

It’s a survival game, the aim is to survive. Of course players will stay in the same position until they have to move. What a daft criticism

Maybe but who knows. Luckily there are a million and one other games out there to keep me busy. BF1 is still keeping me busy (with these great DLC maps) and SC is down to 5 bugs left before 3.0 gets released to evocati ..that will keep me well busy for months and months
This game is still early access, it will receive more maps upon full release
Playing alone is a ball ache and can be rage inducing. Playing with others is really good fun

This bit is what makes this game interesting,"most enjoyable and nerve-racking, panic inducing games you could ever play."
I remember last year I bought Rust for a fiver and it thrilled me like no other game I could remember. PVE is a nightmare and PVP is evil in Rust and just when you think you are getting somewhere it is all over. Then do it all over again and again lol
I have to say , it is the first time I have played PUBG , I have put in a couple of hours this morning , the tension is great , the game is rough around the edges and buggy , I just died on my 3rd play , by getting out of a moving buggy , that I was driving and I was killed due to falling ! I was down to the last 18 , so yeah it is as clearly stated a a work in progress , but currently happy enough to play more and see if t grips me as much as Battlefield ,Overwatch and the Crucible , just about to newbie on over to Youtube to watch some beginners guides

Just buy it ya cheapskate.
Is this anyone good for a solo experience? Genuinely have no friends to play with
Distinctly average game in my opinion. Spend 20 minutes gathering gear, wait in a house, move a mile, shoot an enemy, kill them, move a mile, get killed from 10 miles away by some guy sitting in a window. Rinse and repeat.

It's alright I guess, and can be fun in squads, but meh, not a fan to be honest. Don't get the hype.

I have just started playing for the first time this morning , there is a squad option with matchmaking , so you can still play squad with randoms , with no need to worry about finding people to play with.
If anyone is new to the game like me , then I found this beginners guide helped explain things , the guide is over 1 hour long , but it does have a detailed time listing for each section.

That’s not a bug, jumping out of a moving vehicle is going to cause you damage even in real life with it increased the faster you are going. Depending on the speed you don’t always die in PUBG
Amazing game and worth every penny my only gripe is with the last circles if you cought out you screwed

Interesting development that. Is it possible to sue if Epic are not charging money for their PVP mode?

They won't sue, they know they don't have a leg to stand on.

They're threatening them anyway unless Epic Games contact them. Sounds like they're salty over paying royalties on the Unreal Engine and probably the fact that Fortnite BR will hit consoles before they do. For the sake of PUBG longevity, hopefully they don't do it.

notos2 h, 8 m ago

Fortnite BR is F2P but it'll be heavily subsidised with in-game purchases. Not to mention Epic Games gets money from every PUBG sale so as with any company, they will pursue things that make/save them money. Even if that means biting off the hands of those that let them make it to the top.

notos2 h, 3 m ago

I'll buy it when it's free to play

The high price point is one of the main deterrents to protect against hackers, if they go down the F2P route, they'll not only lose revenue but have to deal with all those accounts. Won't happen for a long time.

Lucifer_UK1 h, 46 m ago

The more popular it gets, the worse the community will get. Haven't come across blatant hackers yet but there's no denying they're out there. Lag switchers are probably worse though, you can't prove they're doing it on purpose.

Doubt it devs have said the RRP price won't change even after it fully releases. Am willing to bet this will go to £16 or lower on Steam during the winter sale.

Bluehole in my opinion don't have a leg to stand on to be honest. Even Player Unknown him self he takes no ownership of the mode battle royale.
