    Not cream.
For the first 20 years of my life I thought it was.
It 100% is not. That’s why it’s no good for cooking.

Bought some of this yesterday .I actually find this better than cream as it keeps longer .Have Also found it ok to cook with. The single one is good for homemade Baileys as well. (edited)

I am so tempted to buy this, but I've eaten too much cheese of late and I think I should t eat any more fat

Just bought 10 at Farmfoods this week. £1.25 each and I thought that was an ok price. £1.65 in Asda this afternoon. Oh well, you win some you lose some

I recall having this as a kid and thinking it was a really decent alternative to cream as it did not taste synthetic at all.
Wonder if I'd feel the same way today? :/

The buttermilk you buy in stores is a thick yogurt-like substance made by adding lactic acid bacteria to milk. This ferments it in a way that makes buttermilk instead of just the regular off-milk you accidentally drank when you were half asleep this morning.
