Never go for non stick wok as wok requires high temperature. It will be non stick if you take care them properly. It make sense to have non stick pan though.
Absolute load of rubbish....Just go to an east or south east Asian grocery store and purchase an authentic wok...season it correctly and you'll be ready to cook. These fake western ones are a joke.
Non stick not good for health.....

Switch to iron pan for natural iron, or ciramic or cast iron or stainless steel.

Surely it can't be worse than what's inside the food we consume on a daily basis?

Had expensive and cheap woks over the years, they all go the same way eventually. I'd rather spend less and just replace when I need to.
Found this usful, so thought to share it here..

although it's a different wok, following the guidelines will help.

Not true. We have a carbon steel wok that looks like new after 10 years. Proper carbon steel ones will handle high temperatures and you can even use metal utensils.

Agreed. Get a carbon steel wok. Season it properly and it’ll be non stick but without the nasty chemicals. Clean it properly after cooking too. Google is your guide.

Carbon Steel (seasoned) is great. I’ve a Ken. Hom brand (Christmas present) 20 years+ still going strong. No worry about scratching or scraping etc.

Non stick and Wok should not be used on the same sentence...

Woks are meant for high heat frying, whereas this would shaft a non-stick pan...

Kindest regards
I picked one of these up today. Used it tonight. Very good and nothing stuck to the pan at all. See how long it lasts...

Surely high temperatures destroy any non stick coating very quickly? I remember by excellent Teflon Pro stuff saying max 220C on it.
I had a cheap one from Iceland a few years ago when it was a deal for £5 with some extras added, which I can't remember now. This wok, obviously cheaply made, lasted for a very long time. So, the wok from Argos may not be much different, but at this excellent price it's well worth it. If some can afford better and pricier quality, good. I ordered the Argos one.

The one we have is the same as this one

amazon.co.uk/dp/…tle

Its 30 pound but worth it cause it will last a life time if looked after. The flavour of the stir fry comes from cooking fast on the highest heat possible. At those temperatures, non stick coating will peel away

Yes, thats why we don't want non stick coating in a wok as wok requires high temperatures.
Frying pan is fine as you don't need to go that high.
Great deal been wanting one of these. Thanks just ordered x

Completely agree. Either steel wok or no use in long term
