For the price heat added but for the unit itself no.
Its ok for general use but not for diving, i had tried 5 of similar models cameras - same problem - because on/off button located on the front middle area the pressure push the housing cover and cover do push button and it switch camera off soon you reach 5 metres/15 foot deep.
My son tried be clever and tried to turn camera on on the deepness over 5 meters but it would not work as all buttons already pushed in housing by pressure.
Be careful this only records 1080p at 30fps.

That's set by the seller. It's never been over £50, as per camel data

Once again another third party Amazon seller with a cheap and nasty product who has given it away for free or heavily discounted in return for reviews before submitting it on a daily deal with a fake RRP

Amazon needs to toughen up on this practice, I know it goes on and I know how it works, I'm a top 500 reviewer on Amazon and I get offered cheap Chinese tack several times a day. Just click on the seller and I bet they are registered in China and it has been imported from there

Proof... Look at the chart supplied by Chuffedfox, notice when the price hit £46.00 it was November. Now go to the reviews, all those picture reviews are because this was given away to those reviewing or sold at something like £5 They are told in return they want a picture review within 3 days of receiving.

Then when the reviews are in place this is dished out as a daily deal, lightening deal or black Friday deal, it is happening more and more. Oh and problem with cheap imported tack straight from China is that this probably isn't anywhere near 4k - Would love to see this product tested by an expert.

Just ordered this, then had to cancel cos I put wrong delivery address on. Tried to reclaim at that price but wouldnt let, only 1 purchase per customer which is fine. Spoke to customer service, thought they'd be able to issue refund or credit note but nothing!!!
Does anyone know of any alternatives to this!? But not from China

I purchased this and it arrived today.

Will do a review and link it up when I feel up to it. So far, you get a lot of accessories in the kit, and the software is very similar to that which you get on the chinese dash cams.

So is it any good?

Sorry, completed forgot to do a review.

Basically, it's because it's been sat to one side since I've had it. It's the same software as you get on cheap dashcams, and about the same image quality.

Might be useful still, but generally it's so far from 4K-Quality it's indiscernible from 720p imo.

Thanks.
I just picked one up in a lightning deal for £28 as above. For the price I dont expect much TBH, im only looking to use it as a helmet cam on my motorbike.

That's fair enough. It's smaller than I expected, and you get plenty of 'kit', so there's no real arguments on the price - it's just not as "good" as it might appear to be, based on the claims of '4K'

Its bloody annoying when they make false claims for this sort of stuff, if they told the truth in the first place people wouldn't be disappointed. Its a fair price for what it is.

Technically though, 4K is only 8.3 Megapixels. It's only an implied quality, whereas (due to marketing spin) they can get away with simply saying that it is technically 4K (3840 × 2160).
