thanks. Yes that's the one

Size 5? Bargain if it is, I seen the size 5 1's in JJB for £5

Yes Size 5. Even I was slightly surprised

very good ball this one, feels well made and flies well. pity i cleared the fence with it, think i can afford a new one at this price though, paid £10+ for it earlier on in the year.

For the amount of balls my team seem to lose, this is a sound price...

Heat and Rep added...

I work for sports direct and the ball shown is not £2.99 its £6. it also comes in yellow, black and red. but NOT for £2.99 they are £6. the ball that is £2.99 is not a Adidas football it is unbranded. sorry for the let down.

I was in Sports Direct Glasgow branch with my niece and we DEFINITELY got a full size Euro 2008 football (I'll have to check which brand as she wrapped it for my brother) for £2.99. I'm near the store so I'll go in and double-check tomorrow.

I was in there yesterday and they were £6, there were signs everywhere saying 20% off everything which isn't marked down and these just had the one £6 sticker on so don't know if you can get that, will have another look tomorrow as I'm in town.

*if they are £2.99 now, worth a look as that would be a bargain!

I'm no balls expert (no double entendre intended) but it was about 3 weeks ago, and it had Euro 2008 emblazoned all over it. I'll have a look-see tomorrow. My niece is only little and was spending her pocket money on presents, £6 would have been too much; it was definitely £2.99.

I got last years prem football (aerow version) reduced from '£75' to £15 in Nike store in a mcarthur glen outlet. With my first kick of it i flaming hit the post! lucky it was a new goalpost or tthat would have sucked! Seems hard to scuff it, its delightful to strike it compared to my euro 2008 replica ball hehe.

I'm afraid its a price error, customers often put the balls in the wrong bin definitely not 2.99, 6quid is the price of this ball

The Euro 2008 ball is £2.99 but it is not the ball shown in the picture. It is still a very good quality ball, much better than the Umbro. Just bought 6 for our team.

I remember picking up the Euro 2008 and the Umbro to compare at the time and it felt weightier and a better made ball. Was beginning to think it was a price blip in the Glasgow store! Thanks dp124.

Im selling a similar ball on ebay for £9.99 which is a good price, this is just insane. I can't compete. voted hot.

they had sondico (better than umbro imo, also i assume cashley has bought the brand out) but not the euro ones! i hear these are light so i should be skying a few!

I bought one of the 2.99 euro balls for my son....It is quite a nice ball, although the panels don't seem to sit properly and the ball can appear to 'bobble' even when rolling over a flat surface!

Fine for a general kick around ball.

Yep, as s1dwe11 stated I've seen them for £2.99 and they are definitely NOT adidas branded. They look good value though and reasonable quality and do have euro 2008 emblem on them
