£29.99 pack of rockets FREE in Participating Sainsburys Stores, using voucher in Todays Express

The Daily Express (70p) has a voucher in it today that entitles you to a FREE pack of rockets (£29.99) when you spend over £15 on fireworks in Sainsburys before Haloween.

This works in addition to Sainsburys BOGOF offers on the fireworks.

And if your total comes to over £50 before the discount, you also get a 5p off fuel voucher!

I spent £25.69, and got:

A copy of the Daily Express (70p)
2 x Neutron boom Air Bomb packs (£24.99 - BOGOF)
1 x Galaxy Burst rockets (the free ones / £29.99)
And a 5p off fuel voucher.

Normal price would have been £80.67!!!

My neighbours are going to hate me..

Nice find! Heat added.

"I spent £25.69"

Sounds good. So, the £29.99 free rockets count towards the petrol 5p off?

Nice find, thank you OP

Unsure..

The 2x Neutrons (on BOGOF) and the express came to just over £50, before the rockets were even taken into account, and the BOGOF was applied.

Nice deal, ta

Heat and rep.

Thanks!

Got some last night with voucher from last weeks paper. BOGOF plus the FREE rockets and a 5p off fuel voucher.

The cashier did a double take when she saw the discounts! so funny. I knew it was a bargain when I saw her face lol

I doubt it, the petrol deal is "spend £50 instore" not "get £50 worth of items". If you're only spending £25 that won't qualify.

By that theory you could spend £25 on BOGOF items and get the free petrol for having £50 worth of goods.

Wrong!

I spent 21.60 on a bogof fireworks and
sparklers and the Free 29.99 rockets took it over £50 so the lady gave us a petrol voucher.

The FREE rockets are NOT worth anything near £30, its just a scam to make people think its a good deal !

Cheers mate just went and got em! now does anyone know of any good booze offers? Don't wanna be operating these bad boys sober.

IMO having bought and paid for these sort of fireworks before I would say they are worth at least £20. The pack contains 9 large rockets.

Thanks OP.

Been in Sainsburys and looked at the fireworks and they all seem poor value even when BOGOF

I couldnt see any rockets for £29.99 either, there are some at £24.99 BOGOF in the leaflet

Bought the Neutron boom Air Bomb and Neutron Rockets for £25,
and then got the big packet of rockets with the voucher.

I think the 3 packs are well worth £25 in total.
Just let a Neutron boom Air Bomb off, that is next doors cat sorted.

She is wrong mate, i went into my local store (North Ormesby, Middlesbrough) nowhere near as big as the main store in town centre and bought these with the Sunday Mirror voucher on Tuesday and Manager said i was the first.

I got

Sonic Boom £9.99 BOGOF
Halo £4.99
Giant Sparklers £1.49 BOGOF

Rockets Free with voucher (£29.99)

My receipt said

Total - £16.47
Savings - £29.99
- £11.48
Total Savings - £41.47

I'm Happy

Thanks for posting this up - what a great deal.

I went to the Otley branch today and they didn't have any of the rockets in stock. They then advertised the deal a few minutes later on the tannoy which I thought was a bit off as they had none.

Anyway I went to the Alwoodley one and they had some. Cost me £19.99, got 2 boxes of fireworks and a pack of quality looking, pretty big rockets. Thumbs up, heat and rep from me - thanks !

these are the same rockets Tesco's are selling for £25 BOGOF so worth around £12.50 but 2 neutron's and 9 rockets for £25.70 is a bargain

Sunday Mirror had the same offer last week. The Southport store said they had never heard of the offer. I showed them the voucher and they said it was store specific. Check before you go!!!!

nice deal, voted hot

Well you did us proud £70 worth of fireworks for 20.68

LOL they are not £70 worth of fireworks if they are way overpriced to start with !

Anybody know if the vouchers are in any of the Sunday papers?

Me too. Not for this deal but previously in Sainsbury's I've totaled £50 before discounts (less after) and still recived the fuel voucher.

hi everyone

i missed voucher so can i download from anywhere thanks

Just bought:

Cyclone variety pack (£19.99)
Infinity 30 shot cake (£19.99)
11 Neutron burst rockets (£24.99)

and paid £14.99! (two £19.99 packs were BOGOF and there were no Galaxy burst so I was given neutron burst instead, but the voucher still took off an extra £29.99)! :-D

I bought BOGOF on the Cyclone variety pack (got two of them not the Infinity 30 shot cake as my kids are still young), got the Galaxy burst rocket pack and the Sun newspaer for all £20.19p. I still got the 5p of the petrol as the assistant said it should have been more than £50 without the discounts!

Bargain!!!!!! Even filled my car up on the way out!

People should know that these free fireworks are worth £10 at the very maximum. The fireworks on sale in Sainsburys (and most supermarkets) are very overpriced.

The retail prices they claim are well over 3x what they would cost from a proper fireworks shop, so even at buy one get one free they're a rip off.

Check out the UKFR forum if you have a genuine interest in fireworks.

For those who live near Leeds, check out epic fireworks. Very cheap prices and the guys in there know their stuff. They're probably the best value in the country.

If you live near London, try newsbox fireworks. The owners are knowledgeable and the prices are good.

Both have websites if you google them.
