Just ordered. Pair this with these deals and you're pretty much set for a portable office...not quite...but hey...I get to play Angry Birds.

And for all of you unsure about that awkward 7" size. Well, I had a play with my colleague's Galaxy Tab and it fits nicely in my jacket pocket, certainly noticeable, but less so than I expected.

Does IPS make a difference? YES I can't emphasise it enough. Poor viewing angles common with cheaper tablets can KILL the user experience.

Can't personally recommend since I've just bought it like you.

Reviews seem to be good though. People have been reporting that you may need to buy/provide yourself with your own USB-mini USB cable for the keyboard case though.

I have this tablet, had it for a couple of days, very good! PM me for questions and I'll try and answer them

Thanks mate,

I've tried both of these with my previous Archos tablet, I personally din't like the keyboard one, gives it a cheap looking notebook look and adds a lot of width to the case. Additionally, no hold on the side so the tablet would slide out while carrying.

Generally i dont need a keyboard on a tablet(that's the idea of touch screen), for other times a flexi-keyboard does the job for me.

The second one (Pouch) is good to simply carry it to avoid scratches but not practical while using the tablet.

Looking for some thing like This, A perfect case for a tablet i've used so far. Well worth the money.

I appreciate your help though.
Hope you enjoy your tablet soon

anyone know a tablet, not too expensive than this, with a similar spec as this one but with a larger screen? thanks

Good spec, just can't get past the name.

Typical, this is the one I wanted but settled on the Elf 2 instead only 2 weeks ago because this was not yet out.... Great value for money.... I got mine even cheaper when I was on hols in China.....

Hi, how does this compare to the motorola?

hotukdeals.com/dea…926

I'm holding out to see what the rumoured google nexus tablet will be like and how much it will cost. Rumour has it it'll have 1280x800 IPS display and quad core tegra 3 chipset, at under 200 quid. But we shall see...

Do not get the amazon keyboard case.

Mine came last night. Put my aurora ii in it. Walker out the house and watched as my tablet slid from the case firmly held in my arms and across the drive leaving a horrible cracked screen.

As for the tablet. It's good. Powerful. Needs a decent firmware update to fix wIfi problems and touch screen slowness.
Would reccomend.

Apparently, growing up.

I have the single core version which is very slick just got to get the kids off it :-)

Also available here for a couple of quid more from a UK site that quality checks and updates the firmware on every unit before dispatching them. Nice video review on the single core version showing the difference in IPS screen quality over the older models,

Argh, so tempted.

Google Nexus Tablet or this?

FM Handheld runs better on the 1024 x 800 res on the Nexus. but this is highly rated

How do i cancel my order mate... ?

What makes the nexus better?

probably better built, better screen, better internals, but
it has only internal storage, non upgradeable, no rear camera, only a single usb port with no hdmi if i remmber correctly

So is it best to just wait for the Google Nexus Tablet?

to be honest, Nexus 7 all the way, not just the hardware, for me it's mainly the software, 4.1 jelly beans is what I am waiting for.

I had one of these and returned it for a refund. Great tablet but has too many issues.. ghost touches, sound glitches, overheating and the games I wanted on google play were incompatible. I didn't wish to wait around for a fix and tamper with it, I've gone with the nexus 7

4.1 is a good update to 4.0, plus the quad core processor really does make a difference on a device like this. You can see the smoothness of Android on the Galaxy SIII over the same ICS running on the SII. The build quality as mentioned will also likely be better on the nexus 7 than this.

Personally I would choose the Nexus, every time, but some people may look at the fact it's ~£30-40 cheaper and 16GB and that'll be enough for them. But seriously, the Nexus 7 looks like a brilliant piece of kit and I would much rather give my money directly to google for a quality bit of kit rather than give it to a company I've never heard of.

how can anyone compare the nexus which is made by ASUS to this Ainol thing ? it's like comparing a soviet lada to a german mercedes benz.

Thats what i was thinking, until the read some of the comments here and people are actually trying to say that Ainol is better!

Definitely the cheapest Ainol I've seen in a while!

Also bear in mind that the Asus Google tablet will get almost certainly get latest Android updates faster than any other tablet, similar to situation with Google Nexus phones etc.

This can also be imported from hong kong for £100
dealsprime.com/ain…spx

which in my opinion makes this the best tablet deal around.

i was waiting for the Aurrora 2 but heard about the Nexus too. I went for the Nexus mainly for the added GPS and Bluetooth but also for the better processor and screen.

Typical, was going to order nexus 7 now i don t know what to do, the lack of hdmi on nexus bothers me. Is there a way to playback hd vids on TV with nexus?.....anyone?

Nexus 7 MUCH better. Better screen, quad core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Project Butter. Plus it's a Google tab so it's gonna be updated quicker than any other tab. So COLD for me. Sorry

I don't think it's that simple. No HDMI, no SD slot, and a poorer battery, for more money. Thee Nexus has some good stuff going for it like the screen res though. Not a clear cut choice IMHO

Seriously guys the Nexus 7 as made all these £100+ China tablets obsolete, Just read the specs and take in to consideration things like build quality, warranty and support

This costs almost 40% less than the Nexus. You can also connect it to your TV with micro HDMI and expand the memory with up to up to 48GB total. It also works as USB host without hacking. You could use this as a desktop replacement, or portable media hub, which you couldn't do with the Nexus.

IMHO, if I'm carrying a tablet, it had better offer more than a glorified eBook reader, which the Nexus tab does not. My nexus phone is higher spec than that thing (aside from the CPU), and I consider my phone to be low compared to the market standard.

Each have their pros and cons, and this is much more suited to my needs.

The cable is provided but i wouldn't recommend one of the keyboards i had one from the previous post mentioned in your post and it lasted all of 2 hours i removed the tablet from the case went to put it back in and the 2 bottom tablet grips came away from the case, they are not stuck or anything that i could see just friction and when they came away they would slide back in but had ho strength needless to say a nasty review was posted on Amazon and i requested a return and refund. The are a pile of ****.

I bought one of these last week and it is awesome. It is very well built and looks like it would cost 4 times the price on the UK high street. The screen is super bright and clear, excellent for movies ( It is a LG IPS screen so is better than Galaxy Tab, HTC flyer etc.) Just drag and drop movies to the 16Gb memory via USB. Jelly Bean is coming for it but the latest 2606 custom firmware is magic. Full Play store compatible and flash. Wifi was a bit buggy with original firmware but set router to channel 11 to mirror default USA/Asia wireless setup and it works great now.
Plus it has Micro SD to add 32Gb of storage (Total 48GB), HDMI out to connect to HD display, Dual Core 1.5ghz and dual core Mali graphics and all for £30 less than the 8Gb Nexus which can't be upgraded. Someone compared Novo to a cheap car brand. If you want to be blinded by the badge and mugged off by the marketing, go get the Nexus or should I say ASUS. This is the Skoda Fabia VRS of 7" Tablets and worth every penny.

For support and firmware updates this site is excellent. Like I said the aggro 0626v2 firmware has ironed out the bugs.
