My review of the follow films:
    - Top gun - basically a repeat of the first film, the opening scene I even thought they put on the original and not the new one. Fun if you like something nostalgic and repetitious. I walked out early and went an saw another film. Lasted until he reached Mach 10.... 4/10
    - elvis: if you want a head ache or a migraine then this is the film for you! It's so intensely directed I could not be bothered to concentrate that much and then lost the plot of the film. Lasted about 15mins hoping this wasn't the entity of the film and it seemingly was. 2/10
    This is hilarious.

Imagine watching Top Gun and being bored when he hit Mach 10. It's a fantastic action film, with excellent flight scenes and a decent storyline.

Sounds like you've got ADHD, and you definitely don't have an eye for great cinema.

This is your captain speaking ) I wish ) TopGun Maverick was great. nostalgic, copy of the original etc but man, its what the world needed. Really did bring a smile in so many scenes. The bit with Iceman was and i think it was great summer movie. No technical complicated story, no multiverse just a great throwback time movie.

While I found the first Top Gun unwatchable, like a lot of Tony Scott’s films, sorry. I have to say I really enjoyed Maverick, sure it wasn’t perfect, I would watch it again.

Haven’t seen Elvis yet. Bullet Train was as expected, an ultra-violent crazy ride. I enjoyed it, probably wouldn’t watch it again though.
Agree with you on Bullet train , enjoyable, funny & violent but not worthy of a rewatch

Feel bad that I haven’t been to the cinema for more than 4 years, just don’t feel I’m missing anything watching movies at home, Dolby Vision Oled, 7.1 av setup with the ability to purchase movies from iTunes shortly after their short theatrical run , seen maverick , Elvis and will see others such as Pinocchio next week on Disney plus , as for the vue in star city, Birmingham I’ll pass , Birmingham Star City incident: Machete gang storm packed cinema causing 'mass brawl'
