"Offering you additional variety and value in your handheld gaming options, the Nintendo 2DS is a streamlined version of the Nintendo 3DS that will play games available for the Nintendo 3DS, as well as the Nintendo DS in 2D.

The Nintendo 2DS retains many of the same hardware features as the Nintendo 3DS including the same Nintendo 3DS gameplay controls, backwards compatibility with the vast existing library of Nintendo DS games, as well as wireless connectivity giving you access to the Nintendo eShop with StreetPass and SpotPass functionality. However, the console takes on a new distinctive fixed, slate form design, and will play all packaged and download Nintendo 3DS games in 2D.

The new console is a great introduction for those unfamiliar with Nintendo, and it is also a fantastic new way to enjoy the handheld experience for those already a part of the DS family."

Can not play Super Nintendo Virtual Console games or Xenoblade Chronicles, New Nintendo 3DS required

Get Deal is busted and can't change it.
Was trying to get it to link to search results with the consoles filtered.

Last year bought these for £48 from Tesco. How £75 makes it a deal ?

But taking into account the cost of building a time machine, this deal ends up cheaper

Because people want to buy 2ds consoles for their children for Christmas. This is one of the cheapest prices right now. Last years price is irrelevant to current market price.

Tesco has these for £75 with £10 of £75 spend back in the summer. I bought one and used some clubcard points to take it down to £50. My son had it as an early present to use whilst traveling to Lapland last week. He hasnt put it down since! Makes a change from listening to the bloody YouTube videos he watches X)

Oos

Dreadful unit, terrible price. Terrible way to play the game or just about any 3DS game. I would only somewhat begrudgingly vote hot on a 2DS console deal if it were £20, and even then.... would not personally pay £20 myself for such inferior and poor tech.
