why the hell not if you need something quick and cheap haha

I will have a look tomorrow

Don't need one but it seems rude not to.

Wow.

Three quid for an MP3 player!

I can still remember paying about £30 (and that was cheap at the time!) for a 256mb one when these things first appeared!

Who really needs and MP3 player in this day and age.

I do.

So do I

And me!!!

so does Borat
so i can listen to the Kazakhstan National Anthem...
"Kazakhstan is the greatest country is de vorld..... all other coutries are run by girls..."

I'm going back a lot further than that. DX only appeared in 2006. I'm thinking 5 or 6 years before that .....

Back to late 90's/early 00's when if you asked in a high street shop if it played MP3 they didn't have a clue what you were on about.

I got a CD player that could play MP3 CD's imported from the far east. Think I paid about £60 for it at the time. Still sat in a drawer somewhere!

Then the first flash and micro-drive players appeared and they cost a fortune (for what they were) ... for about one albums worth of storage. I waited a while (and made do with my CD based player) before lashing out £30 odd on my 256mb player. The really early 32mb/64mb ones really weren't worth it.

We've come a long way that you can get 2gb for £3 now! X)

Oh wow - I use to have one of those in the second row up :-)

We called them "ghetto blasters" when I were a lad.

Those Ghetto Blasters bring back good memories.....had the Sharp Model (Middle Top Row)...of course good as they were, they were soon surpassed by Twin Tape Decks with High-Speed Dubbing.....ahhhh luxury !

We used to call them Rasta-Blasta's...but you probably couldnt call them that this day n age with the PC Police on call!!

Beats the 99 pound I paid for a 64mb creative mp3 player when they first come out!!

lol

Thats why I didn't bother and stuck with the CD based one until the price came down a bit and the memory went up a bit. (Don't get me wrong, I WANTED a flash/micro-drive one but the costs just didn't make sense in the very early days)

Sounds crazy now. A hundred quid for about an albums worth or storage!!! oO

I'll start with the fact I don't go to the gym and don't need to either.
