Glad you like it, but we tried this and found it insipid and tedious. Couldn't wait until we'd got through it and could order something better.

If you like it, great. But we found it's cheap for a reason.

We’ve bought it twice for £11 and I have found it to be nice. You’re right that there are nicer ones but twice the price, different strokes for different folks:D

Appreciate that taste in coffee is a very personal thing but as has already been said I found this to be undrinkable (I bought 2kg of beans and whilst I can’t quite bring myself to bin the second bag I’ll not be opening unless desperate).

I’m on my third bag of this, only time I’ve bought more than 1kg of anything:

Coffee Masters - Master Blend

Admittedly it’s way more expensive but we don’t get through coffee so quickly that the cost is really significant. Nicer than anything I’ve tried at £15-20 /kg too so for me it still represents good value.

Illy coffee is lovely but it’s much more expensive, it is on offer on Amazon too although the Amazon brand coffee has better reviews amazon.co.uk/ill…-14

I think we're having the Cafe Direct Intense at the moment and it's much nicer. Still not wonderful though, so the hunt for the right combo of flavour and depth continues.

I’ve never tried that one sorry
If you prefer to drink dark brown hot water then go for it. I bought 2kg. Gave 1 away. Awful stuff.

4 stars on amazon, so not everyone agrees
The ground coffee is 50% Arabica and 50% Robusta which is probably why there are negative comments. The beans are 100% Arabica.

See my comment above regarding the beans...not good in my opinion (not tried the ground version)

I got some beans and have to agree with fubar888; it is horrible and I could not wait to finish the bag; very bitter and nasty aftertaste.
