How are they more efficient? All heaters have to obey the laws of thermodynamics.

probably overkill for anything other than a very large room and extremely expensive
They had ones with the timer on for £19.99 too

It's efficiency at transferring heat to its environment could differ - both could use 2kW of energy, but one could be poor at transmitting that heat out, so you leave the heater on for longer etc.

However, I would think that primarily comes down to the design of the heater and not the fuel it uses to run.
Does anyone know how quiet these are? Considering it for our child's bedroom as our central heating pipework creaks a lot

They are silent, heat just rises up through the vents.

Thanks for posting it 👏🏽
Any tips from other parents on how to use one of these in a toddler's room without it being in reach of their little hands?
There available in Romford but it cost me £52.99. This includes a parking ticket. Was in store for 8 minutes. When I came out 3 others had tickets. You would think that at 7.30pm in a deserted car park with only 3 other cars you would be ok. Reason for ticket was "Car park was closed".
