Unsure why its called a heater when it only blows cold.not really a deal, its winter, nobody is bothered about fans at this time of year.

If left on, yes, but I've often found that instead of having your heating on long-term, a ten minute blast on these can often be just as good if you're careful in keeping doors closed and stuff. Also, lots of these come with thermostats now, to regulate the temperature, so they're not on all the time, as they just turn on / off when required. Also, very rarely have I ever used one on the 2kW setting.

Haha - I'm just picturing what those guys were thinking you'd get on cold only with a 2KW fan, 2KW of fan power with no heater would be like a hurricane in your living room

That would depend on the size of the room that you're trying to heat, the original temperature of the room and it's thermal properties (how well insulated it is).

If the heater was running continuously it would use 1 unit (1kW) per hour or 2 units (2kWh) depending what setting you've selected.

1 unit of electricity costs about £0.14 (with British Gas).

It's unlikely that the heater would run continuously because it will be fitted with a thermostat, so once the room has reached the desired temperature it will switch itself off.
How do you add it to basket??? Geezuz! Is it just me or there is no option to add
£5.95 for delivery........cold.
@hereafter are you kidding?!! Buy instore it's sub £4 for a good quality piece of kit. Even with delivery it's a steal!

Worth having in case your central heating packs up over the winter, will keep you warm till the engineer can fix it.

Voted HOT. At £3.97, it's a bit cheaper than that f**king Dyson thing priced at £270!

Good Price - if you can find one...online shows out of stock
Just get an oil filled radiator, you will save the money on energy after a few month..
These are particularly handy for small to medium size rooms. We've got one in the conservatory and in the winter you can find a few mins with this on heats the room perfectly adequately.
thanks
