£1.53 online so one-off store clearance I expect with short use by dates

It will be the cheap 1% milk that is always that price 2 litre bottle which isn't 4 pints. Good price anyway

Yeh it is the 1% stuff, and its 1x4 pints. Sorry for the confusion:roll:

i buy this, its decent milk, was only 65p and had been for ages but recently gone up to 85p. its the one with the purple lid 4pint carton.

4 Pint of milk is £1 in iceland. So as long as it's in expresses as well it's a good deal!

Just got the bottle out of the fridge. Its Creamfields 0.75% Fat

Four pints at Iceland is now £1.10.

Semi skimmed is 2 x2litres at Farmfoods is £1.50.

WOW

What a brilliant bargain!

Have allways been worried about how much a few pints of milk cost! so this has certainly taken the edge off of things! phhhewwww.

nice1!!

Mooitiful

Cow labour.

Farm Foods milk is the best value- 4 litres for £1.50 of whole or semi skimmed milk

Good price for milk............ s**t price for dairy farmers!

Nothing against your posting thought!

this was 65p last week, its gone up( made by creamfields) very nice milk

Im on the farmers side so I wont be buying & would rather pay a bit extra to help the British Farmer before they become extinct because of deals like this.

I wont vote as the deal is a good price but my ethics dont like it.

I dont think the farmer would agree & the price speaks for itself.

i agree in a way with rhino paul. I know its hardly fair on the farmers, but moneys tight and if you can save a bit here and there then its helpful. i understand your point though, farmers are going to be in trouble.

Don't know who is/was getting the raw deal but I can buy 2 x 4 pints for £1.50 from a local shop whenever throughout the year. Super markets are around £1.50 for 4 pints. Milkman getting the same regardless with supermarkets pocketing the profit?

I hope you dont think the extra you pay actually stays in the farmers pockets!! :w00t:

Recently got mine from Farmfoods for 75p PER 2 LITRES (2x FOR £1.50)
I grabbed 4 in a oner, as this is a Great Price & we use a lot of milk.
I used to get from TESCO, the Wiseman Fresh N Lo Milk Semi/Skim 2ltr @ 69p, but they uppped the price a couple of weeks ago, to £1.08.... SO Farmfood's it is for ma Weekly Milk shop @ 75p for 2 Ltrs

Enough about the poor farmers not getting there money's worth from Supermarkets. Get a GRIP peeps, have u seen a Poor farmer recently.... exactly, i think not!!!

Everyone wants a little extra don't they, and when they don't get it.. they always moan that they are the ones losing out... Warreeevveeerrr!!! :whistling:

hot from me. get through so much milk!!

I often buy this milk.
Was a bit peeved last week to see such a big hike in the price.
How can they up it by 30%?

my parents pay £12 per week to have one pint a day delivered - not any more tho, have told them to use the supemarket instead ........ I could not believe the price the milkman was charging. mind you they have been doing this for years so it will take them a while to get used to the change!

I was talking to a farmer the other day who said that he had to turn the heating off in one of his swimming pools times were so hard!

milky milky

its only milk....

who cares?

Honestly.... whats 20p/50p diffrence between a pint or 2..... nothing!

Would be interesting to see how much money people earn a year who are in2 these sort of deals!

4 pints of 1% milk is the equivalent of buying one pint of 4% and adding 3 pints of water - which works cheaper
