I am trying wean myself out of aspartame. Most sugar free drinks contain aspartame.
I use Stevia and fruit alcohol sugar like Xylitol etc to replace aspartame. Wish there were more drinks with out aspartame

I simply drank too much pepsi max in the 90's & my brain jolts & latches onto it ..I clearly have an addictive nature.

I prefer to believe whats on the NHS site which suggests it's perfectly safe, but each to their own.

I wish it was. But if it was Stevia or even Sucralose, or Xylitol, I would have felt much safer.

Luckily, for me at least, the safety aspects are secondary because I simply can't stand the taste of these sugar-free drinks. Yay, but I do miss being able to drink whatever I wanted like in the old days.
Nice.

How is that any better?
because I can take or leave it, & when I want something fizzy it fits the bill (& is also lovely flat) when i'm not drinking water from my sigg I was used to drinking around 4 litres a day.
