Great to build a small nature pond. Bigger sizes are available. It has a 40 year guarantee. I had an old sink that I’m going to make a water feature out of an old sink and this. Free postage.

Great idea OP. We've only got a very small garden but my partner decided to do a 1m cubed pond last year as part of 30 days wild. This year we've got 3 frogs and have spotted damsel fly larvae and several other beneficial water creatures in it.

One edge is sloped and judging by the poo nearby a hedhehog is using it as a watering hole, proving that even small can be beneficial and beautiful.

Heat from me.
Probably get 10 years out of it as a roof membrane for a shed, cheaper than felt or EDPM

We have adopted 6 tadpoles (saved some tadpoles from a drying pool) earlier in the year and my 6 year old boy is looking after them and watching them develop and grow. They are now growing front legs and from what I have read they will need to be able to get out and about but return back to water when they want to very soon (when they consume their own tail). So I have bought this today and I’m hoping it arrives on Monday or sooner so that I can get them in this straight away. I have a built up big pond that is inaccessible for ponds but I intend to use the pond water to fill it up (not tap water). I can do the fancy stuff with plants and the sink water feature after them. I will fix sink to the wall prior to putting them in. I will block the plug hole and use the sink part to home a small Lillie and the overflow will trickle back into the pond underneath. Well that’s the plan anyway!
If you're going to use this with ariba, make sure you use two layers first
Do you need to have some kind of water filter for small ponds? Wouldn't really want animals in it as my cats would just eat them! Any advice? Also what's a good small water fountain motor to get??

You don’t need a filter however the water will need plants in it to keep the water healthy. Still water will go green. A pump and filter with UV light will stop that. It really depends on what you want. This is only small so is ideal for a small nature pond (plants and possibly a small fountain). Cats do pay attention to wildlife and could pierce the pond liner so I don’t recommend fish (you would need a bigger liner and have a deeper pond). It kind of depends what you want really.
