good price heat added.

Has to be cold, it's a higher price than the last time it was posted.

Prices that have gone up surely cannot be hot?

Eh? This is £15 cheaper compared to the previous times it's been on. Definately a hot deal.

Was under £100 last time it was expired wrongly.

That's Gordons devaluation of the Pound. Nothing will get as cheap as it was. This is the best price now and this is what counts. Just accept it or vote different next time in the General Election. Hot.

Ah, I think you mean this one ]http//ww…mb- which was £106.77.

So it's £4.62 cheaper rather than £15 cheaper. My bad. Still a bargain.

Its good overall and £20 cheaper than when i got the samsung F3 on ebuyer earlier this week.

only issue is i'n not sure how noisey and reliable it is hence i did not originally go for it.

althoug its def faster than the sasung i bought.. but then also depends if you use it as a HTPC or something else.

voted Hot as its a good deal

Already posted … Already posted http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/609754/2tb-hitachi-hard-drive-from-aria-su

Thats posted just few hours ago which is a dupe

A word to the wise, there is a reason why Hitachi drives are so cheap.

Personally I wouldn't consider an Hitachi drive a hot deal no matter how low the price. In my experience there is only one thing guaranteed about an hitachi drive, that it will fail before it reaches 3 years old. While all drives suffer failures Hitachi has got to be the worst.

Whatever drive you go for make sure you have a good backup system in place but doubly so with an Hitachi drive as it isn't a question of if it will fail but when it will fail.

OMG... soooooooooooooooooo tempted...

I've had in excess of 15 hitachi drives, still have 6 of them running in a server. Not a single fault with any of them.

Don't listen to anyone mention reliability problems or deathstar. This is a myth that is no long true and these drives are fast, quite and just as reliable as any other manufacture.

Ordered one to replace 2x 250GB Hitachi hard drives which are 3-4 years old which still have not failed and to add to my 500GB, 750GB and 1TB Hitachi hard drives in my system.

To anyone slating Hitachi drives, I'm afraid your minds are stuck in the past. I've been a hardware engineer for the last 9 years, but in recent years I've seen many more failures in WD/Seagate drives than Hitachi. I've had 5 x 1TB Hitachi drives in a RAID5 setup for over a year myself, and never had a single problem (as well as them being completely silent).

This is a great deal, and a good quality drive.

(said this on the other deal for the 2TB Hitachi drive too :-D )

Just a note about aria, I ordered 3 drives from them about 2 weeks ago at about 2-3pm and received them the next day, all 3 came individually packed in a well padded box, so very happy with thier service so far.

why did someone expire my deal if it's still being voted hot?
it's only gone up 5p. Surely you can't expire a deal over 5p?

you should have asked for someone to unexpire it if no one does it just repost it?
when I originally posted this it was £102.15 delivered but that only lasted for a day, I updated the price since £104.50 is not a bad price either.

agreed, hitchai drives werent the best and wd ones were brill.....wd drives over 250gb are hopeless.....2 drives - 500gb and 1tb - of mine failed alst year after less than 4 months use

Hot. 2T can last years if you are not a heavy downloader.

There is something highly suspicious about HOTUKDEALS.

I posted this same deal earlier. It was live for several hours, now it has suddenly disappeared (even when listing my own posts).

I am fast going off this site - what other deals are they removing, or prioritising certain people.

Maybe those that bring revenue to HotUKDeals perhaps.... (Yes, this link has been tailored to record HOTUKDEALS as the source, thus generating revenue for them). Time to move back to MoneySavingExpert. Whether this post remains 'visible', we shall see.
