How this one will work as the system drive in laptop. Laptop have gen 3 and the most I'm concerned about heating up

It'll work fine, nand memory performs well at high temps, my crucial P3 has a max operating temp of 85°C, not seen it go past 66°C under heavy load in my gaming laptop.

Of course if you have a gen 3 slot then this drive will max out at gen 3 speeds

6% TCB works as well, it has tracked on my purchases. 4tb SN850X for £261.27 after student discount and TCB

    What's wrong with Kioxia?
I've only ever had 1 issue with a drive made at their plant (an SN850), and I've installed close to 100 WD/Kioxia drives.

No DRAM isn't a huge issue, but would be nice.
Are there any gen4 1/2TB TLC NAND drives with DRAM at these prices? (edited)
