My lap top is m.2 sata and I'm looking for a cheap 1tb drive .I don't think I can use NVME stuff. Any suggestions?

No (Needs to be 5000MB/s or faster & PCIE 4.0 x4 this is 3.0 X4, re PS5).

No heatsink either, though a cheap heatsink would help a little, but it's not really vital for these drives honestly.

You sure your motherboard doesn't have a second M.2 slot instead? I personally wouldn't change a Samsung Pro SSD to this.

Does DRAM make any difference at all if using for additional storage? RAID array in a NAS?

In may server, running lots of virtual machines and moving large files around, I see a marked improvement with DRAM. In my gaming machine, DRAM/DRAMless/Gen3/Gen4 makes no discernible difference.

Good price. Ordered 2. I've wanted to swap my two SN750 1TB drives in my X17 R1 RAID out for 2TB models but would cost too much. I use them in RAID 0 and the second bay is only PCI GEN3 anyway so two of these will be great and use the other drives elsewhere. Just a shame in theory will have to wait a fair few weeks for them! I just wanted to check if these are single sided drives though think it will be ok in the X17 unlike the blade 14 anyway.
