Great opportunity to build your smart home arsenal
good price, i use mine to switch radiator on/off..
Are these likely to start getting faced out in favour of Tapo (TP Links new version)?

I'd hate to buy a 2 or 3 pack to find that in a few years they'll be unsupported or phased out.

according to Amazon the Tapo ones are the new version, no idea how support will go for these in the future but guessing by the prices we have seen lately and the price of the Tapo ones £12.99 is the new price for a single one. Looks like TP have finally realised they cant be charging a lot more than the competition.

Think I might wait a few months for the Tapo ones to gain reviews and discounts - unless Tapo ends up not being good!
How do you set these up with the password for your WiFi in the first place?

Download the app to your phone - connect to the plug via the app - set the wifi password on the plug from the app. The app creates a temporary wifi network to the plug - which enables the plug to be setup. Once complete go about your normal business as if nothing happened!

Sweet, thanks, will get myself a couple of these for the upcoming Christmas lights, then when that's over I can just set up the lamps in the lounge on them to turn them on without having to move

Based on how often Amazone keeps pushing back ther delivery date, may take months to ever get them !
Ace used the £10 free credit for using the amazon app for the first time on one of our accounts and bought the 3 pack for £25.99
Are these the best plugs about? Never used them before!
