its really not tho is it.
I use them 5 times a week, for the last 2 years, not one problem.

I use dhl for 1 item, it gets smashed.

DHL are the worst.

DHL? International? or domestic?
Yodel are worst for me, never use them- they hardly ever turn up when they say... wish it was still DHL
I like this more (not out yet though)

No need to go collect goods in person if the seller has pick-up service only and no need to badger them to put the item into a package when arranging a courier to go collect (couriers can't deliver unpackaged items which is ridiculous imo)

From £5.89+vat
Parcel2go are great, they give good customer service, i had a parcel for delivery in France which was having problems being delivered, I used their chat option on their website and they made all the phone calls for me and quickly sorted it out.

As for hermes, I've never sent a package with them, but I've never had problems receiving one, even when it snowed they came, more reliable than royal mail.

I used them about 10 times for pickup and delivery myself and received about 30 deliveries from them and all good.

parcel2go failed to pick up parcel on requested day! had to phone up for recollection, hence 2 day delay in delivery!
Hermes are Ok if you get a good local courier so a bit hit-and-miss. Yodel are rubbish everywhere though. I use UPS.

I agree with this, I have a local hermes courier who delivered a parcel and i told him i work nights (Sleeping until 1pm) He agreed if i ever get a parcel delivered by him again id be his last drop as he finishes at 2 anyway. Never any issues since.

Have to agree there, and same time everyday they arrive at my town. Always know to be in at 12pm.
how you all getting it for £3.30?
the worst.

our company has booked one item collection (first time with hermes) - they were almost 3 days late...
Hermes refused to come down my road!!

UPS are solid and reliable every single time. Courier delivery is not worth skimping on.
Looks like a good deal to me! heat added!
Royal mail every time!

parcel2go are a terrible company cold

I agree, DHL were supposed to deliver some international rugby tickets to me (this was about a year ago), looked on the tracking when they didn't show up and it said they'd attempted to deliver, they hadn't as I was in all day and there wasn't even a card left. Arranged for redelivery the next day and same thing happened again. So I change the delivery address to my work place which is constantly open all day but still the same thing happened. So I ring them to try and sort it out and, guess what, they'd lost the tickets. Wouldn't even accept blame for it! Complete waste of space.

FedEx are definitely the best though.

Yes 30 working days to process claims! (actually that just shows how long it takes to process the millions of parcels they lose).

Had no issues with them apart from parcels being left in the garden in all weather, I did two days work with them as a courier last year and now realise why they are eager to leave parcels anywhere, the couriers are paid 50p a parcel on a self employed basis and are expected to attempt to deliver three times to be paid that meager amount.

Royal mail every time!

Have you seen how much Royal mail charge for 15KG?
Payperparcel I used for 2 years for a ebay shop, it was the best interface out of them all, had a list of all items I sold with the weights and measurements. I use parcel 2 go again now which is good butbinwish it had the same interface
they are cheap but they are sometimes really slow
i used yodel 48 the other day, posted it on friday got delivered on a SUNDAY !!!

This price is for items weighing less than 1kg. Think OP should amend the title to say "price from £3.30" My hermes prices can be found here

Love the people saying they're the worst company. (It's my understanding you'd have to use every company possible to get this conclusion). Trolls.
I believe the main reason Hermes is 'rubbish' in the UK is that its it relatively small to its competitors like UPS, DHL and etc.....

However, at this price, it is good value in my opinion

I think saying they loose a million parcels is an exaggeration..... They're a business so most likely they have 30 days just in case they turn up. You gotta remember that they are there to make a profit and if they just forked out for everything and did everything most of the people here demand, they would most likely not even over their costs in some areas.
