Just done this, good chance to sample different beers in a nice glass. Thanks OP! Lots of other options which are still a bargain with £10 off any order! Was tempted by the two kegs for £30 less £10 voucher, but doubt that I would be able to put one aside for a few days!!

It seems you can buy one of these for postage costs, then repeat on a new order ... ive ordered one each of the 3 beer and glass boxes for £2.99 each - so code can be re-used multipul times on same account

After yesterday's deal I'm not surprised they are out of stock. The website yesterday said that they are honouring the offer up until January 23rd. I ordered 2 bottles of prosecco for £2.99 each so hoping it is honoured.

They are using the 'out of stock' to get out of the massive cock up they've made. The beers I ordered are all available but I have the sane email saying out of stock you will be refunded. Looks like nobadys going to get their 'TREAT10' THEY HAVE PULLED THE CODE so you can't even order anything else. Annoyed, feel a boycott coming on.

I've emailed back and basically said i'll wait till they're back in stock, or they can give me £10 off something else that's in stock on their site.


Literally just had a reply whilst writing this in an email called 'An apology from our CEO' has everyone had this or is it just because i've emailed them?? - this is what they've said:

It has not been our finest hour…

We pride ourselves in making brilliant beers and doing the best for our customers. Mostly we get things right. At times, we could do better. This time, hands up, we got it wrong. And for that, on behalf of everyone at Adnams, I apologise.

Yesterday we sent out an email to our mailing list to tell them about a new promotion we had running on our website. This offered customers the chance to get £10 off any orders using the code TREAT10. This was a genuine offer sent to incentivise people to order through our website.

The promotion was subsequently posted to a number of deal websites and, over the course of yesterday afternoon, it exploded.

We woke up to over 5,500 individual orders, mostly for our beer boxes - to give you an idea of the scale of what we’ve been dealing with, yesterday was six times our biggest order day ever.

Since we emailed you this morning, we have lifted every stone to find a solution. The lack of stock issue is not beer, we have plenty of that, it’s finding something to put it in that is our problem. Post Christmas, we have run our packaging stocks down and there is not enough in the warehouse to fulfil the volume of orders generated.

We have not refunded you and will keep your order as originally placed. If we do not have your product in stock, we will replace it with a similar product of equal or higher value. This may take a few weeks, we will keep you updated, please bear with us.

Of course, you may wish to cancel your order and receive a full refund. In which case, please call our Customer Services Team on 01502 727222 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or email customer.services@adnams.co.uk

This is not what you should expect from us, apologies once again.

I was right that they aren't out of stock of the product. So they just dont have packaging to send it out, makes sense. Happy to be wrong about then using an excuse not to supply orders. I sent them an email to say I was happy to wait, as long as it takes, for stock to be available. Fair play to them for honouring these orders. I always do a dry Jan and sometimes Feb anyway so happy to wait.

my problem having to wait a couple of weeks, is I move next Friday

i'll email them with my new addy, the beer will come in handy for the house warming, 6 cases of 8 bottles of ghost ship will be a good start

I got mine too, although I bought a £20 bottle of vodka for £9.99 using the £10 off code. I forgot to add the free 12pack cans of tonic waters but they sent those aswell. The vodka was really good thanks op
