Bit harsh I went a few weeks ago felt the food was really nice and there was so much I couldn't finish mine.

Its what I'd expected from a chain restaurant but was very good value and tasty.

This is a good deal for £20.

But what you need to know is ...as soon as you tell them you have a 'Buyagift' voucher ...they then give you a cut down menu - Which is quite restricted.

However, they were still quite flexible with us ...as they let us have soft drinks instead of the wine etc...

They are quite open about it - and it has a sample menu on the Buyagift site (not guaranteed to be the current menu though)
We did it recently, and luckily for us, almost everything we really wanted to eat was on the Buyagift menu.
Who remembers the glitch last year where this was £3.99!! I stocked up then

It is a cut down menu from their normal menu - So you cannot chose anything you like. Hope this make sense.
Great food. Where else can you get 3 courses and a drink for tbat. The venue near me very clean, warm and good food. I think choice is good. Sometimes menu choices can be too big and that for me sometimes shows in how cooked, presentation. Husband and I have had a few of these over the summer to now. Will definitely be getting another, can't fault it.

That's how it should be. There's actually a lot more choices on the new set menu now than there was before and it says on the website that you can have soft drinks instead of wine. Though there always was fairly good variety on the set menu, a few different types of pizza, pasta and salad, enough choices for most people. They have added a vegan pizza option, a lighter salad with more starter and dessert choices than before. It's great value for money, even at £30 it's cheaper than paying restaurant prices, not than anyone on hukd would pay that for it anymore

I have never had an issue with asking for a soft drink. They will surely give it if asked.

That's a great deal. I must have missed that one, got it early this year when it was £7 though. I only got 1 as had never been before, but after using it wished I'd got more. If it ever drops below a tenner again I'd stock up too

A soft drink option is part of the deal anyway...

What's included?
  • A three course meal for two from a set menu at Prezzo restaurants UK wide
  • A glass of house wine or a soft drink each
Does anyone know if you can make a regular looking on the Prezzo website and then turn up with one of these vouchers? Or do you have to make a special booking through a special platform that will restrict times and dates?
Still a great price at £20, £10pp for 3 courses + drinks.

Last time I went, my meal would have cost £56 if purchased individually, so there is a good saving to be made.

In the past we've just turned up.

But last week we used the voucher from the £15 deal and the manager said he did need us to make a booking so he could put the offer through. He was very easy going though, just said sit down, order/etc. And make the reservation at your leisure. Just needs to be on the system by the time you pay (for anytime in the same day).

Was a PITA as the site was fiddly to use on mobile and not very clear. Booking went fine, but it suggested we needed to generate a code. Which didn't work. Said to call customer services, but they were closed. Fortunately the manager said not to bother with that part, he could used the codes on the voucher. He just needed a reservation on the system.

From the Voucher:

To use your voucher:

1. Visit buyagift.co.uk/myv…her and enter your voucher number and PIN 2. Book a date and me at your chosen Prezzo using the online calendar 3.TakeyourvoucherandBookatableconfirma onemailwithyouontheday
4. Enjoy your meal!

And then from that page once you login using voucher code/pin and your email/postcode:

  • To redeem your voucher, you must generate a unique booking code using the link below. The code must be presented to the restaurant staff upon arrival at your chosen Prezzo restaurant*
  • Your booking code is valid for 60 days from the date of issue and must be used within this time
  • Your booking code may be used once only
  • Available week-round for lunch and dinner. This experience is not available during bank holiday weekends, Valentine's day, Mother's day, Father's Day and other special occasions and between the dates of 16th December-31st December

It was this second part that didn't work. But it didnt matter fortunately as the manager was happy to accept the voucher.

What I meant to say - is yes, you need to book, but do not have to go to a special link to make the booking. IIRC, we have always just claimed the vouchers via the buyagift link, then made a booking on Prezzo. Simple as.
Dull, uninteresting selection on these menus, still if not too fussy it's a night out.

They must have changed something recently though.

We never used to book before. In fact, in the past, the manager always said don't bother when I asked if I needed a booking for the voucher (or Taste/Gourmet Card). This is the first time we've been told we need a booking. Wonder if the same will be true for Taste/Gourmet.

Guess its a heads up for others like me that didnt used to have to book.

Yes - there were 4 of us with 2 vouchers last time. No need for separate bookings or anything like that.

I went for the first time a few days ago when this was £15. Really impressed to be honest, huge portions, decent food, chilled ambience. What’s to dislike.
This was £15 last week, taking the wife tonight.

I spoil her really

The actual 'Saving' from £56 to £20 is a bit overstated. While it would have cost £56 if you had of bought everything individually, in reality because there are so many offers, even at the restaurant itself, you'd never paying full price at Prezzo anyway. So while there is a saving to be had (even more so when this was £15 a few weeks ago - I bought loads), It's not as huge a saving as was pointed out in your post.

Got this for £15 the other day, was really impressed. I always order carbonara if I go and that was on the set menu. Even £20 is such a good deal, where else would you get dinner and a glass of wine for £10 each?
Please Check your location before buying as we have Prezzo in my city but it's not on the list
Used this a few weeks ago. Food was great. Absolute bargain and will be buying another.
Went recently on this deal. Worst food I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Starter was breaded car wash sponge, main Dolmio Bolognese, dessert Heinz tinned sponge pudding.

We had this with our local Prezzo but we didnt realise till after we had bought it. We phoned our local one and the women who answered said we are not the only ones to have phoned about it and said that she would book us in on the phone got there and everything was good we paid £15 unreal value for money.

Those offers often exclude Saturday which is when I went. Most of these kind of offers generally exclude Saturday and especially during Easter/Christmas.

So there are big savings to be made.

Indeed, Saturdays included with this voucher are a huge advantage. All should be wary that this voucher seems not to be valid at all between 16-31st Dec.

My point merely was that unless people that go to prezzo usually pay full price and, except for the weekend, not sure that they do, the savings off the 'RRP' are a bit misleading. I personally would never go to Prezzo when full price due what I believe to be inflated prices.

Their own offer, which is usually constantly running is 3 courses during the week is £12.95 + Wine £3.65 = £16.60pp £33.20 total

Don't get me wrong though, this is still an amazing price for a 3 course meal with a drink and a saving of £13.20 off what I consider to the the normal price. If I didn't already have loads of the £15 ones, I would probably buy 1 or 2 of these and then when the £15 offers comes round again, stock up then!
