Some decent savings to be had. Includes everything, except gift cards, which is usually the case.

Best deal I've found: Save £13,999 on this ring (if you have £27,998 to spare, and want 3 of them)

Just goes to show the mark up on this crap if they can discount £14,000

Good deal for those that are cheating on their other halves

Wow - that ring is obscenely expensive, and mighty dull. For anything over a few grand, get something truly unique and a one-off, not some high street rubbish with the cheapest looking band going.

It is platinum, what could be less cheap?

99% of the time diamonds (rings especially) which have been accurately priced either hold their value or go up.

Any place that can even discount more than 5-10% off a diamond has already overvalued it.

If you buy any item of jewellery from a high street store its near enough guaranteed that you will most likely lose money over time. Just spend a few hours researching and you'll save a few thousand £ in the long run.

Research where? If not buying from the high street I wouldn't know where to begin.... Other than Google... Genuine question

Google, but dont believe everything.

Read 5 articles (not affiliated with jewellers) at minimum about how diamonds are graded and some places where you can buy diamonds which you can narrow down by cut, clarity, colour, carrat etc

Even if you took a whole day out to do it you can save yourself ££££'s and worthwhile if you want something of good value.

Majority of high street operators are 75% sales tactics and 25% knowledge, its just that some customers have even less knowledge than that 25% and thats where they get you. The amount of times i have had to call BS on store clerks trying to over-sell me something is why i do most of my shopping online these days.

Real example is i know someone who paid £2.5 high street ring which was advertised as 50% off (£5k rrp) real valuation put it at £900. And someone who paid £6k for a similar ring and real valuation at £10k
