"who needs another remote control"

Maybe disabled people or even lazy ar*es like myself...lol

ps can you post a link to the one on play as i couldn't find it...ta

does it recognise all HDMI sources at one time or do you have to hit a switch between which source you want to use? if that is the case how would you use for example a PS3 and a home cinema system at the same time?

Goog question spinach_pie. I would imagine it is individual due to being able to switch port with the remote. I presume they expect you to plug your ps3 into the main port on the tv and have your v+, blu-ray etc into the hdmi switch. I think your tv would need at least 2 hdmi ports already.

needing one of theses when I get my PS3 soon, is there a big difference with this type and a more expensive one?

'Ready 03'...I would imagine this is the old argument of do you pay £1.99 for a hdmi lead or £21.99, as someone once said "it's all just 1's and 0's" :-)

Nice price, i think i'll wait for a switcher that doesnt require a power supply tho.

Doesn't require a power supply, I bought one last night reduced to £7.99 in my Aldi. Bizarelly it does have a 5v input, but no mention in the instructions of what its for, voltage is taken from source, so it works just fine without any DC adaptor.

Tidy little unit, can velcro to the back of the tv, and then run the magic eye IR sensor to a convenient location on your tv stand to toggle.

Really good value if you can find it still in a local Aldi, especially at its reduced price.
