I love the design, with the flip out keyboard and even joysticks inside so it can be used as another controller. If only it was bluetooth and was made by Sony. Hmm... not sure wether to buy but will vote hot.

Should point out it is a Pre-Order for the 30th January

thanks m8.

Ordered one..........HOT.

Hope the keyboard is functional for my fat fingers but its worth it as a blue ray controller (been looking at the official ones which are dearer). Are the 2 black buttons in the lower section joysticks ala the standard PS controllers? (that would be the 3rd use I guess as it only really mentions 2 - as a remote and as a keyboard)

Dang, just bought the standard remote. Having the keyboard built-in would be darn handy. But, this isn't a bluetooth remote, it commincates through wireless. Does that make much of a difference?

Just means that you need to plug a reciever into the ps3 for it to work unlike the official.

Voted hot but won't be buying as it looks rather cheap, sony should have released an official one of these.

Cheap alternative to the official remote, wonder if the reciever could be used with any other remotes at all (wondering if you could jump a Harmony on to it). Only other IR to Bluetooth solution i know of costs about £60 from the states (designed for Harmony remotes).

Can you power the ps3 on with this remote

This works with the PS3 and Harmony remotes amazon.co.uk/Log…g_b

The remote is pants but the reciever works ok.

Isn't that a different remote woodja?

I spotted this remote on amazon back in november when is was pre order for 5th december. Hopefully wont be delayed further.

As it is not directly connected to the ps3 through bluetooth it most probably wont be able to power on the machine.

I think the idea of this remote is fantastic but:
- reviews of other competition pro remote for the ps3 are abysmal
- build quality does look a bit poor
- will it be delayed further?

I'm not going to vote but would be really interested to hear what people have to say when they get their hands on it as it could be a great remote.

Would the buzz receiver work with this? I've run out of slots!

IIRC you can't turn it on or off with that. The only way to get the full remote is to buy the official bluetooth remote from Sony.

Yea its different, and no you wont be able to use all the functions like you can with the official remote when using the reciever with a harmony, I have the official remote and think its well worth it even if it is one extra remote.

Nice, Preordered.

Really? You must have very high standards as to me, especially because of the price and the fact it's only a 3rd party device it actually looks quite nice.

FINALLY! Mine has been dispatched for delivery tomorrow! if anyone cares!
