Not sure, I wanna try myself with my Photoshop magazine sub if the offers are still on.

@wanny.I think you can set a different delivery, could try and cancel before confirm if they won't. I do remember there being an option though.
Does it have top 10 tips to stop being paranoid?
Just done it myself! Heat added!
Ordered this myself last month. Its not worth the paper its printed on. Very basic information that you can get anywhere on the net for free. Will be cancelling very soon.

Best mobile OS by far.
Will this explain why my phone requires 1GHz to operate?
Buying magazines specifically about your phone may be going a bit too far. I think only really rabid fandroids need apply for this one.

Lol fruit
either get it on the net for free or go into whsmiths (local library) and read it for nothing like most other cheapskates do !!!

do they only deliver to the billing address?

No I have mine delivered to work, got the first one the other day, pretty good
^ IOS is for people that don't know what they are doing and like to be told what they can and cannot do with their phone. Android is for people that like freedom and want to be part of something bigger and better. Apple phone owners are paranoid because they spent so much money on their locked down iToy.
Thanks, ordered placed.

To be honest it'd be nice to know what apps to look out for and tips on what you can do with your phone without trawling the net constantly. I'm forever finding new stuff about my phone and tablet that makes the experience 10x better. If you set your phone up right with the right apps Android is miles better than iOS.

Either way at 30p an issue it should be a good read for the train or porcelain throne

That is the exception. The Sony S1 takes the good bits of android and … That is the exception. The Sony S1 takes the good bits of android and made it into a stable and secure operating system fit for the sony consumer products.

Be quite troll, your just making yourself look more stupid by the second.

Yes just like their Playstation network. You are just making yourself look silly now.

Sony threw the Same Android OS onto the S1 as everyone else who has taken advantage of Google's free OS. they then add a couple of there own apps and threw some Sony marketing speil logo's on it to satisfy the naive...

Have you tried honeycomb? It's pretty damn awesome. I much prefer it to iOS on the iPad, the reason I've not been considering changing to one. An Android tablet can be on your desk displaying a load of widgets of the latest information and you can do pretty much anything you want with it for the initial cost of a tablet, iOS demands your attention (and money) and has half the functionality of an Android pad.

I assume you'll be able to play games on the S1 with a PS3 pad too, makes tablets sooo much more fun for games! I imagine there'll also be Playstation games on the tablet like the Xperia Play has also, and Sony Media Go for the "I wanna be hooked into iTunes" crowd.

Sony S1 =(((TegraTM,Android,TruBlack,Bravia,Cybershot, … Sony S1 =(((TegraTM,Android,TruBlack,Bravia,Cybershot, PlayStation,SIXAXIS,Qriocity)))so as you can see Android is just a tiny component. I imagine they could have achieved the same starting with WebOS.

Yes as i said "added some marketing spiel".

android on the S1 is UNTOUCHED. it is Android plain and simple with some added Sony apps to control the added Sony hardware.

It will fail as it is at least £100 over priced...(even Mobot agrees with me...)

cool, ordered linux user and web designer magazines, thanks to the OP
If you need a magazine, then you probably don't want an Android !!!!!

They are dead easy to use, and anthing you need to know is on the 'net for free.

If you enjoy burning money.. get an iPhone.
dga

If you ain't got the cash, you can always get an Android.

We disagree on this one..had both, Prefer android. Even jailbroken IOS is too locked down for me..I like to fiddle..Android has more options for those who like to fiddle with different Roms etc..

My wife still has an iPhone. suits her much better than Android. Depends what you want form a phone i guess.

?

My sons mobile is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs Android fine!

My Desire was about the same price as an iphone when purchased so both your comments mean sweet fa :^)

Actually I disagree. People see the style and both the Sony and Playstation logo combined with stuff like the universal remote functionality and Apple will have a fight on their hands. Personally one thing I've been loving on my Andoird tab is controlling my computer, having a TV guide etc on a tablet and being able to change the cannel from the guide without having that menu covering the TV would be awesome!

The problem with current tablets is that they don't really have much style or brand power. Sony is a well known and trusted name in media tech as is Playstation in gaming, their wedge (not fold up) tablet is pretty damn sexy to say the least. Sony has much more sexiness than Samsung or Acer etc.

That's what I thought. All the little editorial boxes that stated the absolute obvious were annoying.

Seriously with a £400 tablet budget you'd buy the Sony over the iPad??!!

I like both OS'es and use an Android phone (as well as a WebOS phone) but with £400 to spend on a tablet I'd walk straight past this and pick up an iPad unless the price was the right side of £300

Delusional Sony fan ramblings. There's no unified central control standard that wirelessly controls your AV kit. SFB :(nuf said

There isn't even an Android app that will control Panny Plasma's...IOS only lol.

voting cold btw...all of these types of magazines are a waste of money and will tell you nothing you can't EASILY find on the web for free.
