The three issues of Edge magazine, and two bookazines is £5 with the offer. Using the code SALE20 gives an extra 20% off, bringing this down to £4. On their own this lot would cost around £38 if I've worked it out right.

Where can I find whoever mashed up the word "bookazine," and do him physical harm?

So if you cancel in 14 days you will still get the 3 issues you paid for and the.....ugh bookazines..

They don't accept cancellations via email so you have to write (!) or call the number within 14 days of purchasing. The 'bookazines' look like theyre worth a fiver like

Signing up now, but no intention of getting the full subscription. Does anyone know the email address you have to use to cancel? Is it best to do it straight away, or wait a couple of days?

Do it by DirectDebit and cancel that?

I've seen these Bookazines in the shops, they're £9.99 each.

Can I vote hot for the deal, and cold for "bookazine"? Sweet Moses, what a world we live in.

Tempting until they just never answer the phone! X) And bookazine is just ridiculous, it's enough to tip anyone over the Edge...

Awesome deal thanks op

Those bookazines cost a lot

Do we have to cancel in exactly 14 days, or within 14 days?

Thanks

I think it's after the second issue is received then you just give them a call to cancel, they will still send out the third issue

This seems almost too good to be true, but I guess they're hoping you either forget to cancel, and/or decide you can't be bothered. A bit like cashback by redemption. Or something X)

Doing this for the bookazines!!!

Here's what the My Account section looks like:

Not sure how that works if I cancel within 14 days, but we'll see. The blurb on their site is clear as mud.

excellent!! cheers!!

Doesn't anyone think that the 'cancel within 14 days' refers to the £4 for 3 issues deal, and not the follow on subscription?

It would be odd to have to cancel two and half months before the initial offer ends, no? And in the details above it shows that next payment is 05-Jan-2017, so if that was cancelled, they couldn't take the initial deal payment and the whole thing would be voided before it even began?

Phew

Thanks, needed something to sit next to the toilet....

Just cancel the DD after the first payment is taken through your bank, very easy if you use online banking.

Anyone had their magz dispatched yet? I haven't.

I got a further email saying I'd actually start with issue 302, in January *sigh*. No idea when the "bookazines" are due to arrive. No idea when I'm supposed to cancel to avoid going into a second quarter (at £16). No idea when they'll reply to my email from Friday night.

You should cancel after you receive the second issue in early February 2017

Thanks Neostar. I've just had an email to say those special issues - or "bookazines" - have been despatched.

I'm guessing the 14-day cancellation thing is if I don't want to pay anything, and just ditch the deal entirely.

Emailed them on Friday to clarify the cancellation and still had no reply yet

Here we go:

Dear XXX

Thank you for your recent email.

I can confirm that as long as you cancel after the initial payment has processed successfully and we have received the funds successfully then you can cancel before the next payment is due to be taken and still receive all of the issues under the trial payment.

If there is anything else that I can help you with please don’t hesitate to contact me.

The "Bookazines" turned up last week, they're quite a good read. Definitely worth the £4 on their own.

Yeah, I've been reading the stories behind 50 Top Influential Games. Inspired me to get back into Yakuza. Well worth the £4 - and with 3 issues to come next year.
