I just finished my last supply of this stuff so finding it in this Thursday's deals is very welcome. Excellent results for both cleaning and shine and way cheaper than the 'brands' you'll get at Halfords and elsewhere (this is a great big 3 litre bottle!). Give it a try and I think you'll agree.

I'm very surprised - care to explain why?

Be careful with these 2 in 1 car washes - applying to a window isnt a great idea as it will contaminate it with wax.

Probably ok if you haven't already got any polish and wax on your paint. I find these cheap wash and waxes aren't ph neutral and strip any wax and polish that is already on your paintwork.

This has Carnauba wax built in, it leaves a lovely shine, little work involved.

agree, this stuff is for the wash the car every once in a while sort of folk. if anyone takes it a bit more seriously - detailing .etc - then there are far better products available

Got two today so that'll last me a while.

I have a black car but also fairly soft water: I find that if wash with this and just hose off it produces a very good shine without streaking and 'beads' well until the next wash. If I choose to leather it off it's as good as spending hours polishing. I haven't noticed any problem from wax on the windscreen either.

I'm sure it wouldn't keep the 'detailing' extremists happy (after all, it's not expensive enough, but everyone to their own thing!) but for normal people it's excellent stuff at a bargain price.

All at a hyped up price for the fanatics.

Not so sure that they are all that much better than this.

How much of this do you have to use per wash?

I just pour in 'sufficient' to get a decent lather on the car but I guess it amounts to a capful, maybe a little more (but I do have soft water).

Edit: container says 50ml/wash, but it is in their interests for you to use too much. I certainly don't need to with soft water.

At their rate of use I make it 60 washes/can or 5p/wash.

I use this stuff all the time, the shine you get from it is great, especially for the price. I can't be bothered spending hundreds on washing my little workhorse!

Trixabel - why do you wander aimlessly around this site making inane comments in random threads? Do you get some sort of weird kick out of it?

Comment/criticise by all means but please explain why.
