Great find. Heat.
Still slightly cheaper in Farmfood for 3 x 3l bottles @£5
and also £2 off a £25 spend if you have one of the vouchers in their leaflets.
3 for £5 at farmfoods, little bit cheaper if you want 3.

You can download the vouchers from the website too.
Bought a few of these and after the first 2ltrs the final litre is just flat Pepsi. I’d rather pay more a litre to get a 2ltr bottle.

£1.90 for a 2 litre bottle in Tesco now! tesco.com/gro…066

I find crushing the bottle as it gets down helps keep it fizzy, but I probably also drink it quicker than you

I've never had the issue of it going flat, usually I keep in the fridge for about a week before it's all gone

It was in the fridge for me too, opened on thurs and finished off on at lunchtime today, last half litre down the plug hole as was totally flat. I’ll try crushing the bottle as I have another one still to go through!

No idea where this price has suddenly come from. It's been £1.50 for a while now, although most places like B&M/Range/Lidl, etc have been in the £1.35 - £1.39 range. Where did an extra 40p a bottle suddently get added

It still says $1.50 on the shelf label in my local Tesco Express store

It has been £1.90 in my local Tesco superstore for about 2 weeks (diet was cheaper at one point), prior to that for several months it was usually £1.85 when not on offer, both at Tesco and several other supermarkets. Offer price is now typically £1.50, or 2 x 2l bottles for £3, I'll only consider buying when it drops to £1.25, which is now very rare.

I guess they are trying to narrow or eliminate the price differentials between Max and full sugar pepsi and possibly also bring the prices in line with coke.

Aldi's Vive ZX cola is a drinkable alternative that actually tastes similar to Zero, vastly better than the usual supermarket cola anyway, for about 42p, same sweeteners as Max and Zero, bit of an aftertaste though.

40072396-UP30o.jpgMy local Tesco Express had it for $1.50 still yesterday, $1.80 now. I'm quite surprised that a Tesco Express is $0.10 cheaper than the big Tesco stores

Does seem odd that it should be cheaper for the bigger bottles in the smaller stores, but then Tesco do know their markets.

I mainly buy the 3l bottles from Farmfoods, or iceland now, when they are on offer, and the £5 for three 3l bottles in Farmfood has been on pretty much continuously over the last year.

I usually get 1.5L for $1, 3 litres for $1.75, 24 cans when prices are reasonable etc

Considering it was £1 for 2 litres at least every other week for several years, I resent paying even 66p per litre now!

Not only have they less space for it, they have the extra cost of paying for a member of staff having to load it on the shelves, rather than leaving it stacked in plastic pallets.

I pay it because I have an addition to Pepsi Max. I know it's not a good thing to be addicted to soda, but I am

I have a bit of an addiction too unfortunately, but because I'm a bit tight, my resistance to paying too much just about overcomes it.

I used to be a Coke drinker, didn't like Pepsi because it was too sweet. I switched to Coke Zero because I was putting on weight, then switched to Pepsi Max when Zero's prices went up, and found I preferred it over Zero.

If prices continue rising, I'll probably be regularly buying the Aldi stuff soon.

I absolutely hate croca cola drinks so wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. I'm a bit of a mug for paying $1.89 for a 2 litres bottle once, but that was at a holiday village with no other shops nearby, and I genuinely felt like I needed it. I've tried Aldi cola and don't like it

My other half would say this is me. First £1.25 was a deal, then £1.35, then £1.50.... i'm approaching that stage of "welllllll i'm not sure i can say that £1.80 or more is a deal". Mind you she refuses to drink the Lidl/Aldi stuff and i'm currently trying to keep her addiction to the stuff with the £1 for 1.25l which isn't MUCH less, but it works out about 1.5p per 100ml cheaper, so in my head ITS STILL A DEAL! (ish).
