Per the T&C have to apply by end of March. Can be tremendous value if you live near/visit the right places over the 3 months with free admissions and often 50% off special exhibitions.

From T&Cs:
◾The offer is a three month trial of the National Art Pass for £10, which entitles one person to a card ... will be valid for 3 calendar months from date of payment. The expiry date will be rounded up to the end of the month of expiry.
◾The offer ...closes on 31 March 2015 at 11am.

So from the wording of that it's best to apply today and get half of March as well as Apr-May-Jun's full 3 months. (and I think June definitely counts as summer)...

Otherwise apply at say 10:50am on 31/3 and gamble they Pass you to end Jul (though T&Cs make that sounds unlikely).

Tip: I have always found their interactive Map useful [though occasionally you find glaring errors/misplacements in it!]

We did the free trial last year, it's good as it includes lots of National Trust places and If you are near Telford or Stratford upon Avon, it includes all the shakespeare places and the Ironbridge museums
p.s. if you bought this by the end of march you wouldn't be able to use it in the summer holidays, it would have expired by then
Last years free trial gave you family membership, this trial only seems to be for 1 person?
The interactive map reminds me of the LA homicide map
Yes June is the summer I just clarified incase anyone read it quickly and presumed it meant the summer holidays who have kids. Shame the offer isn't for a family pass, or I would have bought it.
Tip: Probably no "up to 10 day wait" to receive - eg they send my Pass out straight-away : ie applied some time on Thursday and my pass (to 30/6/15 as anticipated) arrived in the Royal Mail this morning, sent Second Class.
