Just saw this and purchased online. Saves me going to the store. Good deal as only £14.99 for 3 month Xbox live and an extra £10 credit. Emailed to me within minutes.

Yeah just a warning to echo what others above have said: it initially looks like a good deal, but the value is a bit questionable tbh.

£15 for 3 months x 4 = £60 for a year-long subscription, with £40 back in credit. If you spend the credit wisely it works out as £20 overall for the subscription, but wisely is the key part - on normal purchases, £40 in the Microsoft store does not go nearly as far as £40 in the real world!

If the credit is saved for deals, or things that you cannot buy cheaper elsewhere, then you're in for about £6 saving over the current best 12 month xbox live deal. Generally though, I don't think it's worth it unless you wanted a £10 voucher anyway like the OP did

Great find @TimJackson Thanks
Do you mean Xbox live gold? As I read this as Xbox pass as in game pass and when clicked the link was disappointed it wasn’t game pass
Sorry. Yes is for Xbox live. Only got as was getting £10 credit for silly thing called vbucks for my daughter. Not sure how to edit title.

Got one, bargain and cheers
Great spot, heat added cheers.

Edited now. Sorry
Surely 12 months Xbox live for £26.50 is the better deal?

Depends if you need £40 of Xbox vouchers.

Buy 4 of theses and it'll feel like you've got 12 months for £20.
I was happy as getting £10 credit anyway so really only cost me £5 more for 3 months Xbox live to add on to existing membership

Yeah I was thinking that I purchased last night
Don't forget the extra month for free for agreeing with Xbox to switch Auto renewal on. (Then you can just switch it off) Thanks Op.
I'm guessing this is a multi-retailer deal seeing as GAME and Smyths are both doing this.
Excellent deal we'll spotted and I got an extra month for turning on auto renew too

Its all good but beware the £10 credit has an expiry of 3 months

just check my account from the other day on amazon deal ans says expires 18-10-18 - so use quick!
As others have said though you can do 4 months on each card with the auto renew scam (I did 3 on prime day). So that's 3 cards at £14.99 with £10 credit = £44.97, £3.74 per month for 12 months and £30 credit to boot.
I am assuming this credit can be used for buying Xbox games from the store and not just for add ons, packs etc
Been the same price at Smyths and Amazon the past week.

Game last to the party as usual.

Imagine how cold this would've got a few years ago, when Live was £15-£20 for a 12 months.
Amazon was prime only- so having it via game is helpful, especially for those of us with credit.

I treat this as 3 months of live for £5- I use the credit anyway as I am 100% digital
Thanks, XB live expires tomorrow. Great price with the £10 credit.

Just gone to redeem and also got the extra free month for auto recurring subscription. Result!

They seem to have limited this to one per customer now. I decide to go for one on the thinking that it would work for four months with the auto renew trick. Not bad at all.
Brilliant thanks.
Also got a voucher “kids go free” for Thorpe theme park, sea life, dungeons on the Email.

Means it has to be redeemed onto an account within 3 months, the credit will be on your account until u spend it.

No.... Seems the Amazon credit didn't have an expiry but the Game credit does

I basically had £30 credit on my account and it stated quite clearly that £10 expires 18-10-18 on my Microsoft billing account page

I've seen it before last year when Xbox did a similar 3 month deal

You can get 4 months if you agree to auto renewal which you can turn straight off

I have done this 3 times now with each 3 month code.... Basically I got 12 months for £14.97

Have £30 credit to spend now
3 bought separate and all stacked.

I dont compare them, dont see a point even when i had a PS4
I get gold to play the odd multiplayer game- I only need 2-4 GwG a year to be good to make it worthwhile, especially factoring the bonus discounts in sales etc

Apologies my bad.
I’ve never had credit on my account long enough to notice. 🏻
May not affect a lot of people but you cannot use the £10 credit for backwards compatible xbox 360 games on the store on your Xbox One. They can only be bought using credit on a 360 or by Card/Paypal on the Xbox One.

Yes. You can also use it for hardware. Eg. Controllers. (Design lab controllers too)
possible £2.50 topcashback atm over £20 (reported back spend so aim for £30) or 20% back in superpoints through rakuten.
Heat added - I just gone and bought me 3 months for £6 from Microsoft! D'oh!
