I’m sure you realise whoever you do decide to feed it’s just money going to stock holders.

Or do you believe that Spotify is the more honourable business?

Yes, I do
I tried this once and i seem to remember it messed up all of my artwork.

Still, I tend to prefer Youtube music nowadays, even over Spotify.
It looks like they have ended the 3 months for free then - glad I got in when I did. Still a good deal though.
Best streaming service for Apple users, just shame about pricing.

Personally tried the Apple 3 months free, loved it, when ended tried Spotify, didn’t like it. Then I found out a family member has it and she opened it up as a family iCloud account so we all get to use it
Should be atleast free in the pandemic!
TT_M30/05/2020 22:26

Yes, I do

I’m not sure why.. Spotify pays half the amount of royalties to artists when compared to Apple Music.

I thought it was fairly common knowledge that Apple Pay far more to the artists than Spotify

He may be reffering to the Tax dodging practices that Apple participate in.
Tried Spotify and Apple Music, and they are both as good as each other. If you have other Apple products like the HomePod, obviously, Apple Music will be more useful.
Having said that, I can’t quite get my head past paying a monthly subscription of any kind to borrow music.
Thanks, looks like I get a free three month trial.

I’m free to make my consumer choice as do you. thank you for your comment
Can’t find it 😏
The best streaming service out there is Google Music to be honest. how it manages and supports large ripped libraries feels superior to me.

But, my household is all in on Apple these days and Apple Music isn’t far behind. A little convulated in how to make “liked” or “thumbs up” playlists though. Needing to click love and also add to library to get a song on a playlist is a pain

Gave up on Spotify years ago due to lack of adequate offline library support.

3 months free of Apple Music is great it you can get it. Usually includes family accounts too.

Wow wow wow. Back up. Don’t let fact get the way of the HUKD Apple hate.
Is the mp3 music you download still available on your iTunes after you cancel your 3 month subscription (I may do this rather than buy individual music tracks for 99p) thank you

Google Play Music is shutting down this year, being replaced by YouTube Music.

yeah, was partially why I ditched it in the end. Google offered little clarity over its future or how it will ultimately function. Happy enough now in any case.
