3 Months Audible for £1.99/month

Found 15th Jul 2016
Using code WB199P1
£1.99 per month for 3 months
A saving of £6 per month

With this subscription you receive 1 book credit per month.

This offer is for existing account holders who are not currently subscribed.

If you are a new customer then you can sign up for the 1 month free trial, then use up your book credit, cancel your membership and then rejoin again with this code.

If you are currently subscribed and want to take advantage of this offer, then use up any remaining credits and then you can cancel your membership and then rejoin again with this code.

This promotion is only valid until the 31st July 2016.

How Audible works:
Audible is different compared to other subscription services such as Netflix and Spotify in that you can not listen to the whole library for free.
Instead you get 1 token per month to spend on a book (most audiobooks otherwise cost around £20).
And unlike Netflix you still have access to any books you have purchased after you cancel you membership.
I listen around 1 hour/day, 5 days/week, so a 20 hour long book will last me the whole month.

Also a similar deal for O2 Priority Users, seems to be working again:

can you add to the free 3 months trial with this?

edit probably not as looks like for people who have used the service and stopped.

Thanks! My last 1.99 / 3 month deal just ran out. Sorted for another 3 months!
Not for existing customers though, doesn't work for me
If you enjpu reading.....well without actually reading (and didn't just get this for free with £10) its a pretty good deal, considering it gives three audio book tokens for £1.99. So I can add heat to this since the other deal no longer exists.

Worked for me on existing account!
Heat added!
where would I enter this code on an existing account to try it?
found it now via the help section, didn't work for me said I'd overlooked a requirement of this offer
Worked for me and I only finished a 3 month trial for £1.99 last week. I'm pleased with this. I like the service, but refuse to pay the silly prices they ask for when not on offer.

Wicked! I love Audible. I love bargains. Put them together, and we have a winner!

Great find, OP. Heated
Didn't work for me (existing customer) since I'm currently on the standard half-price if you threaten to leave offer.
Didn't work for me as a new customer - makes a change for existing/past customers to get the best deal!

I'm on a frozen thing at the moment, not paying anything for 3 months, anyone have any idea how I get to a page to input this code? (Seems it is done here)- didn't work for me btw.
Final Edit, it did work, I just had to cancel my membership completely instead of the one that is frozen. Literally went straight to the link and it allowed me to sign up for the £1.99 version.

go to your account details, redeem a gift, and then under the redeem a gift box it says "need to enter a promotional code?" go there.
heat from me, need to complete my collection of bond audiobooks.
Thanks for sharing OP. Brilliant x
Gotta try that, voted hot.
thanks for posting
perfect timing!
I've got the audible trail, I can only listen to the book I used my token on. Surely they don't charge a subscription fee for access to a audio book shop. Am I missing the free audiobook library?

Audiobooks usually cost upward of £20 for good long ones, the membership means you can get one of them for whichever price a month you pay
Thanks for this. Last time one of these was about it didn't work after I cancelled, but this worked a charm
worked for me on existing account
confused title though, it's 3 months Audible for £5.97...
I couldn't get this to work on my phone, but it's working alright on the laptop. Thanks for posting.
By the way, it's worth signing up for the Daily Deals email as you can get some great audio books for under £3. e.g they had Silence of the lambs for £2.99 earlier this week and I've also picked the Alex Ferguson autobiography, Joe Hill's NOS4R2 and American psycho in the last month or so.

This let me re-activate my old account. Thanks so much. Great deal.
Thanks for posting!
Didn't work for me on an old account. Previously signed up via 3 months for £5.99

I got the 3 month free trial from Amazon (with £10 voucher) last week, but I am struggling to see the point of the subscription. You get 1 book free a month and then pay to buy other audiobooks (at a reduced rate?). Going to pick up LOTR triology then cancel I think. The £10 incentive was a cracking deal, even if I'm still confused on how Audible normally works
I was imagining and hoping for a spotify style service
if they offered a full service, I would jump for it. but the local library is best. Free, online and multiple books at a time. https://www.librarieswest.org.uk/client/en_GB/default/?rm=ELECTRONIC+RES0%7C%7C%7C1%7C%7C%7C1%7C%7C%7Ctrue

not impressed. Signed on Prime day and for 3 months. Looking for funny/things that make me laugh ..Got Toast on Toast.. its was meh.. Returned it and got my credit. Got Sue Perkins (spectacles) and again its meh.. (Turning into deeky). Will use my 2nd and 3rd month tokens but not impressed. Will stick with Seinfeld episodes
to provide the laughs before I go to sleep.
Brilliant! Even better - I went to cancel my current membership and was offered £10 credit to stay. I accepted, immediately spent the credit on 2 books, then cancelled the membership and signed up for this deal. So today I've spent a total £1.99 on three audiobooks:)
Thanks OP, signed up - when should you cancel ? After the third payment has gone or second ?
Yeah, worked for me. I cancelled my current subscription, redeemed via the earlier link and £1.99 for 3 months. Great. Thanks for the post, ( and the link).

The subscription gives you 1 or 2 (depending on level) at the reduced rate of £7.99 or £14.99 compared to the £20 for some audible books. However audible usually have some offer running so you can get the one book subscription at a lower rate. If you cancel they usually offer you some kind of deal - if you say it's too expensive then you usually get offered 1 book for £3.99 per month for 3 months. If you like audio books, audible is a good deal, even at full price. However as they are always running some offer, it's best not to pay full price.

Outside your subscription, books don't tend to be discounted unless audible has some kind of sale going on. I only buy books that are on sale, if I don't get it through my sub. I always make sure to get eh most expensive book via sub as well.
I've never fully understood the whole Audible deal; do you get just one audiobook a month?
Shouldn't this be labelled as sponsored content?

Probably the most thinly veiled attempt ever at masking an advert!
