I have previously been a paying Audible member, but this deal seems to work anyway.

usual offer for new customers. Heat given as great offer for new members.

The Prime 3-month offer is available to new customers, but it looks like you've already given Audible a try. If you think we've made a mistake, please contact us.

I listened to all of the Harry potters which was great. Only issue - as …I listened to all of the Harry potters which was great. Only issue - as soon as you cancel membership you can't access the Ines you have downloaded - even though you have paid for them. That's a downside I see of audible service. But I like the app and listening to books i think is a great use of time in the traffic.

I haven't found that, all my existing purchases remained available after cancelling my initial membership.
This works with Amazon Echo

There are a handful of voice commands that you can give Alexa when it comes to listening to your audiobooks from Audible. Here are some variations you can use to begin listening to your audiobooks. Keep in mind that you will need to own or be renting the audiobook on Audible in order to listen to it.

“Alexa, play the book [title].”

“Alexa, play the Audiobook [title].”

“Alexa, play [title] from Audible.”

You can also control your audiobook using your voice by pausing, rewinding, etc.

“Alexa, pause.”

“Alexa, resume.”

“Alexa, go back.” (This will rewind the audiobook by one paragraph.)

“Alexa, go forward.” (This will fast forward the audiobook by one paragraph.)

Alexa even recognizes individual chapters in audiobooks, so you can tell Alexa to go to a different chapter or fast forward to the next chapter.

“Alexa, next chapter.”

“Alexa, previous chapter.”

“Alexa, go to chapter number (#).”

“Alexa, go to last chapter.”

Hi, the links not working, can you post the link so it can then be cut & pasted? Thanks

Yep, I just got the same message as shabbird. Heat anyway as it's still a good offer if available.
Thanks OllieSt for the link

I'm an old 90 day trial customer and it just worked for me
Thanks, worked for me even though I've had a free trial before

Nice one I have been trying for over a year but it doesn't work. Had an account for 2+ years and
plenty of audiobooks still to go through but would be great if I could start again without paying the rip off £7.99
Heat it worked for me but only by using the link. No offer if I logged into the store. I'm the same as others, have used a free trial before but was a couple of years back.

Yep, same here
Awesome - I did a free trial a while back but this has give me another one
Anyone got a link to the 3 month free trial as the only one I'm getting is for 30 days. Thanks
I got the same response about having used it before, but I went on live chat with audible and the rep said that because it was a year since I used it, he granted me the same trial again.
So just a heads up, might work for somebody.

Good thinking & glad it worked for you. I've used a free offer only a few months ago so no chance for me.

Worked for me so heat added! Think I’ll get the Bruce Springsteen & Keith Richards biographies to start.
Worked for me too despite having it before. I had a break from Prime since the first time so that might explain it.

New audible customers only! I can also confirm that any content acquired during the trial was still available for me following cancellation.

Untrue. All books stay on the account.

Sadly I can't use this. Must have used it before. I now just buy credits on eBay... Cheaper.

As others have said, not true at all. I cancelled over 8 months ago and still have access to all the books I had on my account at the time of leaving.

Thanks op
I signed up for the 3 month trial - a couple of ideas for you to max the value of the trial - I bagged the following crime and horror audiobooks :

Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection Read by Stephen Fry £69.99 Runs to 71 hours!

The Extinction Cycle Boxed Sets 1-3 £28.25 and 4-6 £38.99 (Zombie apocalypse - very good if you like that stuff) Runs to around 58 hours.

As someone who listens to audiobooks every night to get myself to sleep the above kept me happy for a few months!
Worked for me as an existing (but not active) customer. Used two trials in the past too.
You can get an extra credit on top of the 3 months worth as well. At some point in month 1 or 2 select cancel, choose its too expensive as the reasson and they will give you a free credit to stay. Then cancel for real at end of month 3
Non prime member. I only get 30 days.
£7.99 a month isn't bad either considering you get 1 book a month.

Also, pretty much every time I go to cancel they give you a free credit, half price subscription or something of the like. I go to cancel every few weeks and they've always given me something.

It has definitely made my daily commute more enjoyable.

I've had a trial before and it worked for me.
It offered me a 30 day trial. I have used the free months promotion more than once. Also I know I have spent money on Auduble as well though I can't remember if it was a subscription or book purchase. I didn't checkout because I am half hoping that I can get three months later, but I still think Audible is worth it. I'm just on a budget at the moment

I get my credits off eBay, usually works out £3 or less for a credit. Works really well with Alexa as mentioned above.
I had the message about being an existing customer but I went on live chat and they added it no questions asked
excellent post worked for me and ive had free trials and been a paying customer before with audible thanks for posting heat added
How to win friends and influence people - best book on there, played it around 6 times already.
