Cheers

I'm just getting you've already registered interest - I haven't. Then when I go into my account I get

FREE Spotify Premium for 3 months with our Premiere and VIP Collections

Renew or upgrade to our Premiere or VIP Collections, and we'll give you Spotify Premium FREE for three months, saving you nearly £30 in subscription fees. With Spotify Premium, there really are no limits to the amount of music you can listen to, wherever and whenever you choose.

Doesn't work for me either. Wants me to upgrade to Premiere or VIP collection.

Anybody got this to work? I sign in and go to my apps and then the offer and it just shows me the packages.

I've just noticed that it says buy, upgrade or renew. No use to me then.

Whilst this is good, a tip for when it runs out is to use Deezer's free service, only available in a web browser and no offline availability, but adblock blocks the adverts and so it's unlimited for 12 months

Cold. Looks like you have to be a VIP customer to get this deal. Not available to all Virgin Broadband customers as stated.

Offer available to Virgin Broadband customers. Free Spotify Premium period lasts three months from the date you register for it through My Virgin Media. At the end of the free period, your Spotify service will automatically downgrade to Spotify Free (the Spotify ad-supported service) unless you tell us you wish to pay for Spotify Premium in which case the monthly payments will be added to your Virgin Media bill. (Spotify Premium usually retails for £9.99 a month.) Offer is available to new and existing Spotify accounts. Offer may be only claimed once for each Virgin Broadband account. Offer ends 31st August 2013 (or earlier if demand is very high, in which case we will advise the new closing date on virginmedia.com/spotify). You will need to accept Spotify's terms and conditions of use when you register. For details go

I'm on essentials pack with 60mb broadband instead of 30mb and it is asking me to upgrade to premium so this offer does not exist.
Looks like it's a tailored offer vm send you so voting cold as technically it's not free either.

This IS available to all broadband customers. I set mine up and I didn't have to upgrade to premium or anything else - I am on the 60MB broadband ONLY (no tv or phone). There is however a tech glitch that Virgin are now aware of, when you set it up your Virgin account will show you have 3 months covered with an opt in option, Spotify show you have only 'paid' for 1 month - the 2 are not in sync. The tech team are calling me on Friday when they have rectified things. They did confirm that customers who only have broadband ARE entitled to the free 3 month offer - no strings. I will update this information after they call me tomorrow.
Incidentally, it is also possible to get one of the newer hubs for free (probably best to talk to someone in the 'I am thinking of leaving Virgin Media' department as you are likely to get a more positive outcome). i complained about the 'drop out' with our one, which is true because we have a problem connecting in the upstairs rooms - so they are sending one of the newer hubs out which I will get on Monday, they are sending a return box so they can recycle the old hub.

I called VM today on the 08000528310 (disconnections team, use it to avoid the inept Indian callcentre) and was told that this is available to all broadband customers. They also knocked a fiver off my future services and are sending me one of the new superhubs by courier to install myself, with no installation fee so a saving of £49.95. The guy I spoke to even gave me his full name in case there are any further issues.
