I got offered it for £20 a month but still think that’s too much!

Heat added - £25 is better than £33.99 so not sure why this is being voted cold!

I’ve just taken up the £20 per month offer that many people have received!

Yup same
Guess that offer has now finished and so perhaps this is the best that there is in fairness.
Have they even managed to get to full HD yet?

I know mate. I don't like that team either but Liverpool do deserve to win the league
It won't let me have this or the £20 one and I've been a customer for literally years. And their customer service has been spectacular in its uselessness.
So I’ve paused Sports which deducted £7 pm now they want extra £23pm ?? WTF?

I took it for the £20 a month deal too, for the amount of games that will be shown in the next few weeks I couldn't be bothered with other "cheaper" streaming options.

May well add the boost for the hell of it too (to get full hd)

Yes, £3 extra pm. That also boosts the number of viewers at once from 2 to 3
God I hate SKY.

Why do you have to pay an extra £3 pm for a a 1080p feed. Should be 4k stream for the money.

But 3 households can share.
I bought the Now Stick with 3 months Sport at £50 in the New Year.

Wednesday may be the time to plug it in for the very 1st time.

Now TV is the budget Sky offering. You pay for 720p.
Does this offer tie you in for 3 month’s minimum at £25/month?
I'm kicking myself I went to buy the £20 pm offer I thought I had time but it's expired really don't want to pay £25 but I might have to just watch all the games 😩
oh right... at first I thought it was £25 for 3 months! £25 per month is still very high

I've still got a couple of the Now TV Sticks with 1 month Sky Sports at £15 I purchased in January, but I'm holding off until early July when there should be F1, Test Cricket and golf with fans at the Memorial to watch. I don't think it's worth activating a pass to watch the PL behind closed doors, the Manchester United and Wolves games in the EL before the lockdown were dreadful to watch without the atmosphere in the stadium. It was like watching a training match.
Don't know if this help, but for anyone interested, on gamivo, you can get 3 months of entertainment for under £11.50 and 2 months of cinema for under £11.50. Codes must be added by end of this month. Thanks
Is this the best deal at the moment for sky sports?
For general awareness if you have sufficient clubcard vouchers you can triple their value and get this for 8.33 per month.
Having initially got excited about bundesliga then watching empty stadiums I'll maybe pass

no, it doesn't. if you follow through with checkout, it only charges £25 (i.e. 1 month) - so you can cancel before payment is taken for the 2nd or 3rd month.

Thanks. So it doesn’t automatically tie you in, so you’re obliged to commit for 3 months? i.e. £25/month £75 before you are able to cancel? If that’s the case it’s a good deal. I’m only wanting to watch the premier league games which will only be on for the next 6 weeks or so, so wouldn’t want it for 3 months

Yes joint best, now the £20 a month deal has now expired. You can also get a month of Sky Sports for £25 in store from independent retailers like Argos, Currys PC World, Wilko, Tesco, WH Smith etc

yes, it's done month-by-month, there's no contract or anything. they phrase it as a '3 month pass' whereas really the offer is '£25/month for up to 3 months'. if you cancel before the next payment date, your 1 month pass will just end. here's a pic of my account.

There is a good chance that you will get better offer to stay when you do cancel, when I last cancelled in January it was £16.99 for another month, or 3 months at £20 per month which is a deal I've been offered on several occassions including last week by Email.

I just realised that I also cancelled a Sports Month pass in February, the deal to stay then was £16.99 a month for 3 months.

You're actually completely incorrect. It clearly states the offer period runs until 16th September, you're juat billed monthly.

I started a 3 month pass on a stick, 6 weeks into it the Premier League stopped so I had to contact them as I was unable to cancel or freeze the pass.

Go to cancel the pass and see what it says.

see above screenshot. i can see why you thought otherwise, they have no consistency and its a bit of a mess. luckily this one is cancellable (and lucky it had a 'changed my mind' button!).

think i'll try cancelling again just before 16th july, see if they offer anything.

When you go to cancel it says you 'will lose your discounted price'. Does that mean if you cancel before the end of the 3 months they will charge you £33.99 rather than £25 as you haven't committed to the 3 months? Or does that mean if you change your mind and want to get the sports pass again you will have lost the £25 rate and have to pay full price? Hope that makes sense.

What were you charged if you cancelled within your first month?

yeah, i'm 99% sure its the second one. the first option would be pretty dystopic - 'if you want to cancel, we're going to charge you more AND stop your service'!

as far as i understand it, if you cancel within the first month, the pass you paid for will just expire at the end of the month - you won't be charged anything more.

Same, the ticking down timer caught me out in the email.
I got the 200 football season 10 month pass, they are giving me 2 months free for corona. I'd there going to be a season pass for next season for another 200
