I have been using them nearly a year, really quick delivery and never had a single problem. I was using Focus Dailies and find the Daysoft lenses a lot more comfortable than the Focus Dailies.

Thats good to hear, ive never heard of the company before and use boots dailies which cost a bomb at £25 a month.......

How much does it cost u to get the aftercare at a normal optician while buying the daysoft lenses? and anyone doing cashback on daysoft?

Original Poster

Haven't found anyone doing cash back. Sight tests are free in Scotland and it normally costs me about £25 for a contact lens check, I go to Specsavers for my sight and contact lens checks.

When you order you are asked for the details of the Optician that issued your prescription, they contact the optician to check your prescription details.

Daysoft also send you a 4 day trial of your prescription lenses, if after trying for 4 days you find they are not suitable, you return the unopened boxes and you get a full refund.

They use less packaging as well compared to some lens suppliers.

Brilliant post!

I've used them also for roughly a year now. Despite being signed up for e-mails I hadn't got wind of this - makes their already good prices even better

Must point out on several occasions I've put a lens in and found it wasn't comfortable, on removing it I've found very miniscule 'bits' on the surface, not sure how or why (could be my handling?) but I've just binned it and put a new one in - we're talking maybe 12 single lens in approx one year.

Thanks,

Bubba I have had this happen to me a couple of times with other lenses as well as Daysoft, think it is my handling!

Sorry forgot to say that delivery is really quick normally within 2 days but quite often next day!

Their site isn't working for me, are these dailies or monthlies?

They are dailies

They are daily lenses.

I ordered some last week with the intention of switching to them from focus dailies. I've used two trial pairs so far, and my eyes got really irritated and sore :(. I was really hoping that I'd be able to save some money, but I think I'm reacting to the solution or something.
The free trial with every order is a great idea though, as it means that I'll be able to send them back if after 4 pairs they don't settle.

Thats a shame you are having problems with them Misty, I used foucs dailies for ages before switching to Daysoft and have been fine with them, suppose we are all different though. At least you know that you can send them back and get a refund rather than being stuck with them if they don't settle. I thought the free trial was a brilliant idea

I had same thing happen with 3 lenses in a 3 month supply from daysoft (have been using for a year now) - it was like a little air bubble in the lens - made it v uncomfortable. I emailed them and not only did they send me the 3 month supply again free of charge, but they sent me another month's supply as a goodwill gesture (I had to return unused lenses from the batch in question though). I used to find the odd B&L soflens (previous brand) had defects anyway - just one of the cons with dailies I put it down to.

In fact this very morning I opened the left lens pack to find two lenses inside!

Overall I think they are excellent for service, comfort, value for money - can easily live with the odd blip - but would certainly suggest you contact them to let them know.

The guy who designed the Daysoft lens used to design B&L lenses. Hence the similar packaging.

Their customer service is very good. The first time I ordered from them I received a months supply rather than the 3 months supply ordered. They immediately sent me a 3 month supply, so I got a month free of charge. I only expected to receive the remainder of the order

Ordered at 8pm on Tuesday night they arrived this morning!

Don't forget, D&A still doing free eye tests

]http//ww…and

Great post..... Looks like the free contact lens eye lest at D & A has gone. Does anyone know where I can get one cheap or free. Thanks

Original Poster

Haven't heard of anyone doing free contact lens checks I'm afraid. If you live in Scotland then eye tests are free but you have to pay for the contact lens check

According to the D&A site, the free eye test offer is still on. You don't pay separately for contact lense check.

Thanks for your help , I had a eye test the other day at D&A , they do a separate contact lens eye check with trial and charge £35 . Well thats what they told me ?? It looks like the older link had a contact lens voucher. Maybe I will have to wait abit.
